You are wrong, DEAD WRONG. History has showed me that when the lights are the brightest the team folds not just Romo.

One thing people conveniently overlook. Nobody comes up big. And no QB has ever won anything on his own.

I would love for someone to define "when the lights shine brightest" and "when it matters most" and other nebulous phrases. It seems that even an early season game against Detroit can turn into bright lights if someone needs it for their argument. But a touchdown pass on 4th and 10 with 15 seconds to go? No big deal.

And it's comical that anyone would bring up the Seattle game still after all this time. He's not a holder anymore, people...

It's like people do not even pay attention to what went on in the season.

Like the fact that he led the league in interceptions last year?

You're right. A lot of people around here don't pay much attention to what was going on.

Except he had the 10th highest number of attempts in the history of the NFL last year. Which means when you figure out the percentage, he was far from the worst offender in interceptions last year. But like he said, it's like people don't even pay any attention to what's going on.

I acknowledged that he especially early in the year was throwing to LBers all too often. The first four games he was awful about it.

Now go look up interception rate. For better measure study aggregate stats versus efficiency stats so you can understand the significance of what you are being told.

Yeah... he does "sooooo much".

Unless the game's on the line.

pfffttt.

Same as Ware and our other so called leaders. Ware disappears in the 4th quarter more so than Tony.

Adam did a pretty good job demonstrating that this was not the case last year.

For example, Spencer gets most of the glory for the Bengals win last year but Ware came up with a big 4th quarter sack of his own.

Wasn't particularly pointing to just last year. More when he was healthy. Yes he gets his sacks, but in the 4th quarter, he rarely steps up his game. Just saying if people are gonna pick on Tony for his late game failures, we should at least mention the leader on defense too isn't exactly clutch.

a big reason he cannot step up is that he is never given enough snaps off earlier in the game so he has more in the tank in the 4th. When the body is exhausted all the will in the world is not going to move your game up.

A SMART DC would be looking for plays to keep him out especially in the 3rd if at all possible so he has more left in the 4th. NO DC for the boys has done this.
