What's going on with the DT position? Salaries are going through the roof

Exactly, the Cowboys run a style of defense that does not have a DT. They instead run a defensive line that has a rusty turnstile in the middle.

two things: Some teams realize that a top DT is a major cog to super bowl contention. And w/ the salary cap increase, teams gotta pay someone. In CAR's case, their QB is on a rook contract, so gotta spend the money. There is a salary miniumum that every team must spend.

I don't know bro. I'm a lifelong Longhorns fan. Seen every game. Byron Murphy II is good, but going up against much bigger, stronger and more athletic Olinemen in the NFL might cause him problems because of his lack of size.
