McCafferty is averaging 20 carries a game and 4.5 receptions per game. That expands to 340 carries and 77 receptions for a total of 417 touches.
There is just no way that McCafferty can keep up that pace. He is the only RB for the 49ers with more than 54 yards rushing. Backup RB Elijah Mitchel is questionable and did not practice.
