What's more important RG1 or WR2?

Can someone call up Jerry and tell him how stupid he and his organization are? Hoffman was good in his 7 starts and actually an upgrade of Martin.

IMO you can plug in a prime Zach Martin next year at RG and it doesn’t move the needle. If they draft a guard at 12 they’ve reached Al Davis status.

This team needs a desperately lacks weapons.

WR2 for sure.
Still would like a small trade down. They can use that extra pick or 2 picks in the 3rd or 4th round to take an OL.

WR, RB, then DT or DE then look at OL, CB, LB next.

If it's an elite potential guard then give me the guard. No disrespect to Hoffman, hes good enough to start in this league, but I think he is a lower end starter. IMO nothing is more important than getting the OL in order for this year. Getting the run game going consistently is a must, and you have a QB that has only completed 1 full season since 2020.

Personally I could see the Cowboys looking at it in this order....

Is Tet there? draft him, hes the only Xs and Os difference maker for the Cowboys offense
Is Tet gone? Look for a trade back that gets you value an reevaluate things with your new pick.
Cant trade back? Go get the highest OL on the board.

You do realize they have not picked OL 7 of the last 10 drafts ..so calm down listening to all the mocks and opinions..Zeke, Lamb, Mazi, parsons, amari from a trade , , taco, etc those are NOT OL

its mixed bag..

Complain about the actual picks not the internet rumors,, jeez

RG is important. Our OL is an issue but at pick 12 I’m looking for a playmaker.

Yep, it's hard to admit the truth sometimes but team blocking did improve when Martin was replaced.
The team has a boatload of bodies AND potential at both guard spots to include a new coach who carries a stellar college reputation.
So besides the one poster here who thinks Solari was a good oline coach, drafting ANY guard at 12 this year Is beyond insane.

So most likely that will be the choice.
It's 1 of 2 positions that the team has plenty of bodies and multiple diverse skill sets and who can already ccomplish their job effectively with coaching.
The other position being TE.

They need to stop the run and run the ball.
Get 2 impact DTs and a RB.
Both positions have plenty of impactful choices that could solve these 2 primary team needs.

Who replaces T. Steele at RT? IMO top priority concern plus additional weapons. RB, WR, DT. If we do not have a solid o-line and d-line that controls the line of scrimmage then all of the other positions don't matter unless they are rock soli superstars. Run- stop the run seems to be the winning formula.

Bass>Tolbert
Bass or Hoffman can be as good as Martin was last year. No one on the roster can help lamb like a solid WR2 can. And if you get lucky you could have two WR1 capable players. Some nice WR prospects in this draft. We have a ton of needs but at 12 the talent, too me is most likely gonna be WR. Anyone can fall but if things go how they should then that’s gonna be the BPA at 12
