Designing one play for the 2014 season, based on the talent Dallas has on the offensive side of the ball:
The Cowboys opponent is in an obvious Hail Mary type situation. They have a receiver, say an Alshon Jeffery or Calvin Johnson type. To change things up, this time Dez Bryant knocks the pass down as opposed to Jeff Heath mistiming his 90th jumpball of the season.

Play action to Witten, almost guaranteed and we scored alot of touchdowns from it last year.

With the improvement of the running game I expect it to work even more

At least once in just about every game I would send everyone deep and instruct Tony to let it fly. If he doesn't have the guy behind the Defense put it out of bounds. I wouldn't care if the pass was completed or not. I would do this to have the Defense playing back on their heels to make the run more potent by not allowing them to stack the box. If it is complete the table is set. Maybe we even score quick. If it is incomplete at least it's in their heads that they have to be aware of it.

I would usually do this when it is 2nd and short. A free play of sorts.

This is spot on. It has migrated out of the offense since 2008 it seems. Of course it takes time and the Oline had been diminishing at a fast rate over that time as well.

Throw it up in the endzone and let Dez go get it.

This.....

And how about instead of throwing a 3 yard out route to witten on 3rd and long, we actually design a play for Dez to get open from maybe the slot?

My offense would mainly consist of Dez running a ton of deep dig routes and drag routes, and if it's 1 on 1, adjust and throw it deep, Witten working the seams, deep corner routes, and curls over the middle to find the hole in a zone. Williams working the sidelines, with comeback routes, and also Post routes. Beasley Running the out Route from either side, and Murray offering a little protection and then shooting out if all else fails

My Red zone offense 10 yards and in? Nothing but Fade routes to Dez, maybe a toss sweep to murray, nothing else. Unless one of our younger big WR's can show something and become another jump ball threat, it's Dez all day.

4-10 their 43 seven seconds left down 5 win and you're in. Split right, scat right, 939 Fly. Dez gets a step and Romo hits him in stride for the win and the NFC East Championship.
