Go watch All-22 and you will get the answer. Yeh, Dak played bad on Sunday but it's hard on any QB when most of the pass play has only 2-3 receivers vs 7 defenders. Especially when the WRs are average at best.

If you look at the WRs at the top of Dak's drop, you can clearly see how bad the WRs were on Sunday. Somebody needed to be open or at least in a process of getting open at the top of QB's drop. Most of time, the receivers weren't even in their break but still running. This is the same crap that I used to complain about JG and his long developing pass routes.

What Dak should have and could have done better is just tuck it and run more when this happened. That should have at least got the defense to think about Dak and free up a defender or a two from the receivers.

I picked Moore.. but not because I have any faith at all in Dak (and haven't ever had faith in him) but a decent OC would a) run the dang ball when your prized RB is ripping 5ypc and b) bench Dak for missing easy 5 yard completions and thus solve both problems at once.

Coaching is a problem if it can't see the huge huge huge flaws in Daks game and then plan accordingly. Run the ball. Run the ball. Run the ball some more. Play action big play. Run the ball.

I'm not sure either can adjust to a good defense at this point. I'm willing to give dak another OC to find out if he can make an adjustment. I'm not sure kellen can.

Ja’marr Chase ranked 119 out of 127 last season (2.3 yards). This was tied with Kyle Pitts and Tee Higgins, who also averaged 2.3 yards. T-105th – Mike Williams and Terry McLaurin (2.5 yards), T-97th – DK. Metcalf (2.6 yards), T-87th – Stefon Diggs, Mike Evans, and D.J. Moore (2.7 yards).

The 2021 leader in SEP was Rondale Moore, with 5.7 yards of separation at the point of catch/incompletion. The nearest to him were five players who came in with 4.1 yards of separation (Gerald Everett, Byron Pringle, Mecole Hardman, Noah Fant, and Braxton Berrios).

This stat means little as far as successful results in this league for wide receivers. You need trust and a QB to deliver good throws. The other day, there were some drops, but many poor throws even when not pressured. It also helps when you are not the focal point as the receiver because it means fewer bracket coverages. Dak seemed to key his receiver and did not want to go through his reads (even when there was time). Too many passes behind receivers (which is a trend).

Both is the answer. Jerry jones is trying to make kellen Moore into his new or project….and KM has not responded well…. Thus MM has no say in anything.

dak can’t read defenses 7 years into his career

I picked Dak but I would have picked WR's and no preseason reps for Dak had those been options.

Quarterback,
Regardless of who the OC is, a good QB should be able to execute the play with decent level of competence.

We could be looking at voter fraud claims with this one. We're in for a long night.

Do not let your likes leader down. You know who the real problem is.

You better not stop counting in the middle of the night!

Seems like we're arguing over the wipers and the wheels when the motor is bad. Fix the wipers, change out the wheels, and your car still sucks. Jerry, you are the bad motor.

Moore. He doesn't have a feel for the game. We can be gashing them for 6 yds a carry and he'll run a double reverse for a 15 yd loss. He could have Pollard kick *** out there and sub him off for the rest of the game. Few QBs can succeed with a coordinator like that.

But it is close. Dak has been regressing for years and he seems to not have his head in the game anymore. Let's see how Rush does in the offense

Kellen Moore reminds me of Jason Garrett without the clapping but with the same brand of offense. Curl and comeback routes like we ran in hs. “Beat the guy in front of you” worked in the 50s when there were like 12 NFL teams.

Homework assignment: watch some video of the plays run by the rams offense or chiefs offense. No they don’t work solely because of Mahomes. They are designed differently. Lots of deception, motion, route trees. Then go back and watch the plays we’ve been running the last 10 years. Like comparing steak to bologna.

Sean mcvay had Goff in a super bowl and now Goff can barely win a game. He took perennial loser Stafford to a super bowl. Andy Reid took McNabb and Alex Smith further than they ever went. Of course it's the OC. Kirk Cousins has had Shanahan, Kubiak and now a guy from Mvays coaching tree. Yall serious? Lol. I'm down on Dak too but the main issue is obviously Moore

The answer is both and neither.

If we kept the team as is but replaced Moore with Sean McVay right now, we’d be much better off, but probably wouldn’t make it all the way.

If we kept the coaching staff as is but replaced Prescott with Mahomes, we’d be better off, but probably wouldn’t make it all the way.

I’d probably have to lean in the direction of Prescott being the bigger problem. You don’t need a genius at OC to win a ring, but you do need a competent QB, and they’re difficult to find.
