What's the deal with Jabril Cox?

Could it be Cox hasn’t been very good in practice and the coaches don’t trust him? Why is it always some conspiracies or grand scheme to ignore or hold back a player. If Cox was showing out in practice, he would be playing.

Also, his lack of size and coverage leaving abilities make him redundant with Quinn’s use of Kearse.

Jabril Cox is 6'3", 235 lbs and is an excellent pass coverage specialist, and he's good at attacking the run hole and tackling the RB.

Damone Clark is 6'2", 240 lbs but has problems rushing with power when it comes to the run game. He will try to finesse his way around Olinemen, instead of using his strength to get past them and tackle the RB at the line of scrimmage. He's also weak in pass coverage.
