Whats up with that? Do they have a function?
ok learn something everydayI thought someone said they somehow help with concussions. It sounds silly, but yeah, they have to have a function.
I'm thinking about wearing one around town, just to look coo
EDIT Wait, what is the Q-collar? Well, it's a device that football players wear around their necks during games to help limit the damage of severe hits that often lead to concussions and other head injuries.
The Q-Collar is the first and only FDA-clearedIn February 2021, the FDA authorized (or “cleared”) the Q-Collar as a safe and effective device intended to be worn around the neck of athletes aged 13 years and older during sports activities to aid in the protection of the brain from effects associated with repetitive sub-concussive head impacts. You can read more about the FDA’s authorization of the Q-Collar. Read more solution that helps protect the brain during repetitive head impacts.
Because the brain floats inside the skull, it moves – sometimes with great force – when the head is exposed to an impact. By applying light pressure to the sides of the neck, the Q-Collar increases blood volume in the brain’s venous structures, reducing the harmful internal movement that causes brain injury.
The Q-Collar is a noninvasive solution to brain protection, and there have been no negative effects reported relating to wearing it. It may even help you perform at your optimum.*

I think he's asking about the type of neck brace thing LVE wears?
Pollard wears a neck device as well…I think he's asking about the type of neck brace thing LVE wears?
..wow, ..lol.. at first I thought you was joking. But yep, I guess they do have some purpose.Wow, so they're actually kind of shunting blood to the head in order to hold the brain in place upon impact.
Forget those, we should get them shock collars - every time someone draws a flag, you zap 'em.
Or put them on the refs…zap them for bad calls, or screwing is over.
Pollard wears a neck device as well…
Luke Kuekley was one of the leading players in helping develop these. His High School up in Cincinnati has been wearing/testing them for a few years now. It is based off of a woodpecker. The bird has a similar design so it can strike hard object so frequently.
90s goose neck 49ers Harris was the originator. Hahaha
