What's wrong with McClain?

He played outdoors at ALabama in the early fall. Have you ever been there at that time? It is as bad as Texas, not quite as bad as Florida still.

But he had the flu a week earlier. That makes it just a bit different.

Rolando McClain was checked for a possible concussion on the sidelines and he seemed to pass the tests.

I was screaming so much during the game but I want to say I heard he went to the locker room because of dehydration and needed an IV.

I thought it also was dehydration issues..

but he's also proven to be injured and nicked up all year.

I haven't seen the flash as much lately as earlier in the year.

So I'm not totally sure what we have in him yet.

I think when Lee returns..

he can still move into MLBer..

and McClain can play an OLBer along with Carter.

I expect Sean Lee to be the WILL next season with Rolando McClain as the MIKE if he re-signs and Anthony Hitchens at MIKE if he doesn't.

I know it's only been briefly discussed, buy you have to wonder if his house being burned down two weeks ago in somehow factoring into this.

I didn't hear Garrett say he let. Have it on my drv and will re-watch

While it's impossible to know, I don't think the house burning down was a factor toady.

When you're out on the field playing, nothing else matters.

It's just you and yours against the other team.

I'm having trust issues with McClain right now.

I think he has earned the benefit of the doubt at this point. There were tons of stories of him quitting in training camp and whatnot, but most of that turned out to be false.

I'm sure stress didn't help him with fighting off the flu.

I hear you, but he needs to get straight right now.

I live in Orlando. So, I know what heat is like.

And nothing compares to a dome like atmosphere when it gets unseasonably warm and it's packed to the gills. The air in the dome becomes very stagnant (hence, going out to get a 'breathe of fresh air.')

Back when Peyton played at Tennessee, they played at the Carrier Dome and it was an unseasonably warm day and every Tennessee fan that went to that game has told me that was the worst heat they ever watched a game in.

Tee Martin was actually the Tennessee qb in that game...... Cuse got screwed on pi call late in the 4th and lost a heartbreaker..... The dome can definitely be a sauna, especially when it's packed.

I am still resigning this guy. He changed fiber of defense. I just make sure its pointed out in negotiations how much time was missed. Dallas has to really upgrade these positions: DT, DE, CB. But I will say Spencer & Carr played well today.

At the end of Garrett's PC the PR guy corrected comments about Ro. They took him to the locker room because of the dehydration issues/illness and during that examination they saw concussion symptoms and initiated protocol. He was already home by the end of the game. They will see how he is tomorrow.

Dome games always see to have more cases of dehydration, I think the players are careless because its indoors in a controlled environment that hydration is not as important.

It looked extremely humid in the stadium. Growing up in Syracuse and having watched SU football games...when it gets unseasonably warm and a dome is packed....it makes the place like a sauna. All of the Detroit players were sweating profusely and McClain was really sweating as well.

This true. I have been in that dome and it gets very hot in there. A lot of the Detroit players were getting dehydrated according to the the sideline reporters.

Agree. In the first half McClain looked like he just tried the ice bucket challenge. Also, a couple of lions were dehydrated as well.
