With this board... It's Eagles week and it's dead!!! We lost last week and now everyone goes into hiding? I don't care if we are 1-14, if we are playing the Eagles I am pumped!!! I hate them so much and their fans. If we lose, I may be more disappointed but I DON"T CARE! I have to hate the Eagles! It's in my blood...

Where's the love? I hope the team isn't this nonchalant in practice... We need to go for the throat.

I dont think its dead, rather its alot of people coming to the conclusion that this is going to be another very long season

I was extremely optimistic prior to the season, but after seeing the first 4 games of this yr I think we're still at least a yr away...just dont have much faith in this coaching staff to develop a quality game plan or motivate these guys

I'm with you dude. I hate the Eagles just as much as I do the Foreskins. We get the "W" this week tho. BP will have them pumped coming off that loss. I feel real good about this game. We've got to take shots downfield early tho.

yep thats me Nors...still waiting to see something from Parcells here that indicates he is hall of fame worthy, or worth anywhere near the 18 million Jones gave him

maybe this will be the week he actually gets this team to play with some emotion, instead of the zombie like efforts that we've seen for the majority of his tenure

Not a bad analysis. I might add that at this point I have more faith in the players than the coaches.

I no longer have any idea what to expect from this team at this time. I expect they'll get better at some point in the season. I just want to see good football and I don't care very much who plays it. I quit getting all worked up over teams I don't play on a long time ago.

Still, I hope the Boys play well and win but if they don't it isn't going to upset me much, if at all. Life will go on whether there's any joy in mudville that day or not.

I don't think we're a year away. I think we're half a year away. I think we'll start to show a big improvement in the last third of the season.

If we get lucky and make the playoffs I think we can make some noise while we're there.

hitting QB's isnt part of the game plan apparently, and hasnt been for 6 yrs

What track record? They justed the season with this talent, BP's guys... He's developing a track record now, with his guys.. Lord have mercy, the season just started, with alot of ROOKIES getting PT..

For me - this team is EXACTLY where I thought they'd be. I felt all along we'd be in dogfights all year and I maintain that thinking now.

The Eagles game will be a close hard fought game, win or lose.

It'll be a rare occasion when we get blown out, or blow out, another team.

Get use to it.

M54, no disrespect intended, so don't get me wrong. But ejthedj is right -- but I think you may have missed his gist (his point). Oh I suppose you can hate any team you like, that's not what I'm saying; and while I could be wrong, I believe ejthedj is saying something different ... He's on fire about another opportunity to WIN!

Here's a question that may bring my point home ...would a loss to a team you like be any better than a loss to a team you hate? It shouldn't!

Be on fire! Don't worry about last week because you can't change last week's outcome -- but you damn sure can influence the outcome of this week's game!
