NOt sure if it's the correct name for it or not but my g'ma (RIP) used to make a pie she called "Graham Cracker Pie".

Don't know what it was made of but it was freakin' delicious.

My mother used to make something with graham crackers called Icebox Cake. It was graham crackers and pudding. Very good stuff.

I'm a pie freak.

My mom makes the best pies that I've ever had. Chocolate is probably my favorite, but pecan is a close second.

Right there with ya Amigo. I love fresh Pumpkin Pie. Love Chcolate Satin, heck you name it I love pie but Rhubarb and Keylime are probably my favorites.

Have you ever had French Silk pie? It's freakin' great.

I used to be a waiter at shoney's (MANY MANY MANY MANY YEARS AGO) and for my break I always ordered a double bacon burger with double fries and a french silk pie.

I weighed about 200 when I started working there (at 8% body fat). I weighed about 220 when I left and was only there for about 4 months.

Hey Rack,

My wife loves French Silk Pie.

Also a big fan of duble bacon cheese burgers and fries so I do understand.

I must be one of the few people in US that can't stand pumpkin, sweet potato, and pecan pie.

But I can accept that. I like being different. *leaves the door open wide* :D

Pecan is my favorite.

They make an olive paste and cheese pie here that is pretty cool.

As far as fruit pie fillings go, I sometimes make a cake-pie hybrid. It's easy and good.

I get an oblong deep single layer cake pan and spray it with nonstick product (e.g., Pam). Then I'll open a couple of cans of pie filling (usually one cherry and one blueberry) and distribute the filling in the bottom of the pan (spread it out evenly). Then I prepare a box of cake mix (usually a yellow cake mix) as directed and pour the mix on top of the pie filling. ... I don't mix the filling with the cake mix ... the cake mix is poured top. I then bake the cake according to directions ... although the cake often needs an extra 5 minutes or so (check with a toothpick).

The above is good without frosting, but you can top it with frosting too.
