Yes. Yes. YES!!!!!!

They were a phenomenal band. Hugely influential to southern metal bands in the 90s and early 2000s. Also, I met the singer once, and the guitarist liked an instagram comment of mine once. So I'm basically a part of the band.

He had a hell of a voice. I wonder how it sounds so many years later. He went in a more southern rock direction once the band broke up and didn't sound the same.

Don't shoot me, but this classic rocker recently decided to check out some of Taylor Swift's music, half expecting it to be superficial bubble gum. Turns out, she's way, way better than I expected. She writes songs that ring true to life. There's real emotion in her song, "My Tears Ricochet." It's pretty clear someone hurt her really bad and she channeled that into her music. Here's a video of her recording that song. It's excellent. It has soul and real emotion. I'm impressed. Her success is no fluke.

Have a great time. You're lucky. I looked up ticket prices to her shows, and they were insanely expensive. I've seen footage of her shows, and, yeah, she really does put on a show.
