For some reason, Bring Me The Horizon's recent embrace of turn-of-the-century metal works for them. I like their new stuff better than their old, maybe because it is so over the top and melodramatic that it reminds me of Linkin Park in their heyday.

Yes sure do! Grandmaster Flash was just before my time, but always loved them too.

My dad was from Philly :) Freeway is that classic East Coast rapper flow I don't listen to enough anymore tbh...all the drug rap is catchy but usually little substance.

He's a great talent and even though Beanie is the more popular of the two outta Philly I'd take Freeway any day. Jay Z had a mini Philly/Baltimore (Wire)/NY thing going on in that video...pretty cool I thought.

Love BMTH. I agree, their first few albums I couldn't really get into, but from Sempiternal and up....fantastic! :thumbup: I really enjoy how they experiment with their music and provide different sounds with their albums.
