I always liked Snoop Dogg but for some reason I kind of gave up on a lot of his album releases since the early 2000s (basically right after he came off his No Limit record deal). So, I have been on a kick to go revisit his albums and check them out. So far, not bad!!!!! I'm liking them. I'm on Paid Tha Cost To Be Da Bo$$ right now. I spent the last few days on R&G (Rhythm & Gangsta) and liked it. Crazy he has 16 studio albums. I have my work cut out for me. haha

Kids See Ghosts - Kids See Ghosts

Aka, a project by the one and only Kanye West and another rapper, Kid Cudi.

I have to say I wasn’t looking forward to this record at all. Kid Cudi’s last two records have been laughably bad. Kanye’s new album was hit and miss, and while I did consider it a pretty solid, personal album with some high-highs, it had some low-lows, too. And this was another 7 song, barely-long-enough-to-be-called-an-album-album. So whatever.

But oh my god. Oh lord have mercy. Did this album pull through. Holy ****.

This album has a certain vibe to it. It makes me feel like I’m lost somewhere really sweaty, but damp, like the jungle, at night.

Check out Feel the Love. Free. Cudi Montage. Reborn. Really, every track has something I love about it. I’ve listened to it four or five times now and haven’t found anything to complain about.

Very solid 9/10 album. I wish it was twice as long.
