The similarities in that video and this one are amazing. Even down to the street man offering a free paper of some sort. The Verve may have copied being Bittersweet Sympathy was released in 1997 and Massive Attack released Unfinished Sympathy in 1991. Even the Song Titles are almost identical.Old song I heard in a pub last week. I forgot how much I liked it in the 90s and now play it all the time

Isn't that something. I've never heard of Massive Attack, but a big fan of The Verve' Bittersweet Symphony. They did copy. I noticed this awhile back and looked it up and The Verve wanted to recreate it. Pretty cool tribute. Massive Attack is an English band too. In fact in some of the video facts for Unfinished Symphony it said she was pretty nervous because they were in LA and that was a real gang that lived there and besides a few of the guys trailing who were part of the group to help her, she just walked.

"The music video (directed by Walter A. Stern) is a homage to the single continuous shot docu-fiction music video for Massive Attack's "Unfinished Sympathy".

That's what makes this thread so much fun. I enjoy watching videos from different genres in here. I'm glad I watched yours because it literally blew my mind. I was like, wait, what? Lol.

Lol. You're very welcome. We have lots of fun in here.Honestly I mostly knew this song from the 90s because it was in the widely panned movie Sliver with Sharon Stone and one of the Baldwins.
But thanks and definitely need to keep coming. All my years here I forgot about the off-topic but have spent a lot of tiMe lately
