Oh right, he did that song Bother. I like his voice when he actually sings. I can't stand Slipknot though. Sounds like 7 people, playing 7 different songs at once.

I like a few Slipknot songs, but them overall, I just couldn't get into. Stone Sour, however, I love. Most of their album I own and enjoy.

Yes, it was and I was pretty surprised how open he was about George Harrison's wife because that was a nasty topic when it happened.

Kind of amazing to think at one time The Yardbirds had Clapton, Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck all crossing in the mid 60's and Beck and Page playing together for a short period of time. All 3 are extremely accomplished but in 3 different areas. And this was what Beck did when he left, one of the best tunes of all time.

The little kids diarrhea song. Heard it from the TV when I first woke up,and there it shall remain for the remainder of the day. I tried to counter it with normal songs,but it's there for good. Great...

I wasn't aware he had such and addictive personality, nor was I aware how obsessed he was with George's wife. I knew Layla was about her, and that he ended up with her at one point, but I had no idea just how much of his music and life revolved around her.

...and yes, that's a great song.

Was just going to mention this, I watched it a couple of weeks ago and loved it. Bell Bottom Blues was written about her as well.


After watching the biopic I have a newfound respect for Clapton.

Yep, I had no idea until seeing that. I've always had much respect for Clapton (he is God, after all) but even more, now that I know what he's struggled to overcome.
