It's weird bc I really didn't like No Limit when they initially released. I was a Memphis rap fan and that NOleans style was too cheesy (gold, tanks, etc.) Then Tru did hooty hoo and that's all I listened to for a summer.
When you're young you think that not supporting something makes you "hipper" when really you just miss out on the exposure. I didn't have to put a grill in my mouth, coulda just listened to the music.

Well said. I get exactly what you're saying. I did that with some groups and artists myself. I remember feeling like I had to being loyal as a fan to 2pac and hated on Jay-Z for years. Then one day I'm like, damn, I'm missing out on some great music and for what?
