Your mom must have bought salt free chips or something. Chips are so tasty...but so bad.Potato chips. When I was a kid I could not understand why anyone liked them as I thought they were just "eh". Now I can eat a whole family size bad and before I know it the bag is gone. The guilt follows just as quickly.
LOL...you may have a point. I think I was mostly into sweets when I was a kid.Your mom must have bought salt free chips or something. Chips are so tasty...but so bad.
Aww... Ok, here it goes. Oreos & a swig of milk. Exciting huh lol.Sure sweet girl. my apologies. We just don't have enough of you guys around here.
I got another one, a block of colby cheese, an apple and townhouse crackers/or corn Doritos. Also cornbread dipped into a glass of milk.
I smell a New Englander here…..

I have family up there, they serve a slice of cheese with everything, especially pie for some reason
I don't remember seeing that, but do remember getting rounds of Longhorn cheese, about 6"across that had wax and cheesecloth wrapped along the outside. That is very odd, never heard of cheese with pie.
Any of you old timers remember when cheese came in about the size of a can of corn sealed in wax?
Hot apple pie with a slice of cheddar on it is very good. Apples and pears go well with cheese.I have family up there, they serve a slice of cheese with everything, especially pie for some reason
That's a thing with your family. It's not typical of New Englanders that I know of.I have family up there, they serve a slice of cheese with everything, especially pie for some reason

Really? What part of NE?You would think but I have seen it in many restaurants up there, pie and cheddar.

Hmm, I'm in CT and never heard of that. Maybe I don't order dessert often enough.Worcester, MA but we explore up there when we visit from there to NH, Vermont to Maine…..have seen it all around.
