he was replaced by Michael Myers and Gerard Warren, one of the biggest busts in recent memory, in Denver, fringe player at best

Everywhere he's played, the team has been trying to find someone better than him to plug in. I agree that he'll be okay in a rotation and will make the occasional penetration play.

What would worry me about him if I were an Eagles fan would be the propensity the defenses he's played for has had to let the running game run wild. Last year, before he was replaced in Indy... they were letting runners gain yardage at a frightening pace. As one of their DT's, I'd say Reagor was a big part of that failure. Put it this way... Philly didn't give him very much money and Indy didn't do anything to try to stop him from leaving. That should tell you a lot about how much they valued his services.

Still, all in all, as long as Philly isn't counting on him for much more than giving a starter some rest from time to time... it isn't really a bad thing for them. They're going to need some more beef on their DL if they want to stay competitive in the NFC East though. Tiki is gone, but Dallas and Washington both have a power running game that will give Philly fits if they don't have somone to anchor the DL.

In a nutshell... nothing to write home about, but then Philly probably isn't counting on him too much anyway, so... meh.

I'm just looking forward to him lining up across from Leonard Davis this fall. :eek:hboy:

I actually think Reagor is a great fit for Philly. Philly doesn't need a superstar on their line since they already have The Freak. Nice pickup.

I like Jevon but he only has 1.5 knees and that I'm sure will affect his 'freakieness'

yea i was kind of surprised.. i thought it was a lot of money for a guy that i dont even think will start for you guys.. i like paterson and bunkley more than him but i guess hes a good depth guy... im really surprised you guys kept jevon kearse i really thought this would be the year that you guys just cut your loses with him.. hes always hurt, i thought youd cut him and go after 1 of the better free agent defensive ends.. though i cant really think who was available...but kearse i remember got a big contract and he really hasnt been the player you guys had hoped when you signed him

Im sorry but i hate the eagles with all my heart and i live in philly but this is the type of move that andy reid and the rest of the hard headed eagles front office keeps making.

They sign the same type of players that they have never got over the hump with.

They need a big run stopper in the middle because that run defense is swiss cheese without hollis thomas. those undersized dt's have been getting jevon kearse killed.

They let donte stallworth walk(who was having a great year before the mcnabb injury)

only to give kevin curtis?( a career 3rd receiver and dont! hand me that issac bruce crap he is like 40 years old!) the same money that stallworth got!

I think they need to strip reid of his GM title because all they do is just keep going with what is going to win a few games and maybe reach the playoff but never upgrade to win a championship.

Why are they still resigning correll HURThalter? he's been injured every year of his career and they are actually worried that westbrook is the fragile one?

With all these big running backs moving around that would be a great 1-2 with westbrook. They could've had jamal lewis, ron dayne, T.J duckett, hell even mcgahee in a trade that could've really made a duece mcallister-reggie bush type of backfeild for them.

I give them credit because they find ways to win games but at the end of the day you have to win championship not just stay competitive.

They have to upgrade sometimes you dont go from bobby taylor and troy vincent to undersized sheldon brown and lito sheppard, or T.O to donte stallworth and then to kevin curtis.

All im saying is that living here i know what the eagles fans here are saying and this is a typical andy reid move.
