First, it has to be a movie that was actually released in theaters. Straight to Cinemax and Starz doesn't make the list.

My vote? The Mummy 2. The only thing decent about that movie was that it wasn't a single minute longer than it was. :blech:

The only thing that comes to mind is Rambo III. It was terrible.

Godfather II...just kidding.

Would have to be the prequel Dumb and Dumberer

Caddyshack II.

The difference between I and II is as wide as Jessica Alba vs. Janet Reno in a bikini contest.

Now that a vision I didn't need in my head on a Monday morning....Totally wipes out any movie thoughts ..

I know you are kidding, but Godfather III was just awful. Everyone wants to blame Sophia Copolla(she was bad), but there was a lot wrong with that movie. The actors all seemed to sleepwalk through their roles. The story was unoriginal and boring. It was terrible.

The Nightmare on Elm Street franchise.

The first one (IMO) was novel, innovative, scary as all get out, and original.

Everyone that followed incorporated cheesy special effects, corny twists, moronic stunts. It ceased being scary, and just became goofy.

I have not seen the recently released re-make, so I can't comment on it.

Probably not the worst, but Fletch 2 sucked quite a bit. Especially compared to the original.

As for The Mummy, part three stunk too. (the one in China)

Any of the Iron Eagle sequels deserve some mention. The first was the epitome of a testosterone-driven 80s teen movie with an awesome soundtrack. The rest were pure crap.

Man there are way to many to list

Friday The 13th (pick a #)

Halloween (Pick a #)

Highlander (Any past the 1st movie)

Alien (any of them other than 1 & 2)

Beverly Hills Cop (#2 and on)

Children of the corn (They all sucked)

Robo Cop (#2 and beyond)

Ghost Busters #2

Police Academy (all past number 1)

Wasn't Iron Eagle just the cheesy unloved half-brother of Top Gun?

Teen Wolf II. After Teen Wolf I, why would anyone make a sequel? But some fool did.

Halloween 3 was my favorite. I'm not a slasher movie fan, which probably explains why I liked Halloween 3 and none of the others.

Halloween 3 was terrible because it had nothing to do with the other movies at all. If it would have been a stand alone movie that did not just use the Halloween franchise name then it might have been OK.

But it was nothing more than some hollywood execs using the name to the franchise to put out a movie that had nothing to do with the franchise.

Plus...once you get that three more days to halloween halloween Halloween silver shamrock song in your head it is like pulling teeth to get it out.

I judge the movie for what it was. A movie. Since I only watched one of the other Halloweens, I didn't even relate them.

I admit that Three More Days tune was a beating, I felt it added something to the movie.

Can Star Wars I be a "sequel"? Jar Jar Binks almost single handedly brought down a franchise.
