What's Your Opinion of TheWorst Movie Sequel Ever?

I judge the movie for what it was. A movie. Since I only watched one of the other Halloweens, I didn't even relate them.

I admit that Three More Days tune was a beating, I felt it added something to the movie.

That's the whole problem with that movie. I mean I can understand not liking slasher movies. Really after the first or second movie of that series it was lame, just as with the Friday the 13th movie series.

It just irked me that they bought the rights to the movie or just made a completely different movie using the franchise name to sucker people into watching it.

It would be like taking the godfather title making a movie Called Godfather IV The Omerta and then making a movie about the yakuza. Sure it is a mob movie or sorts but has nothing to do with the other movies at all and would just be using the title to sucker people into watching the movie.

Man there are way to many to list

Friday The 13th (pick a #)

Halloween (Pick a #)

Highlander (Any past the 1st movie)

Alien (any of them other than 1 & 2)

Beverly Hills Cop (#2 and on)

Teen Wolf II. After Teen Wolf I, why would anyone make a sequel? But some fool did.

:laugh2:

Wasn't that the one where Jason Bateman played Michael J. Fox's cousin?

Porky's II was another tragic tale.

I liked the porky's movies...even if they were not as good as the first one, they still had their moments.

Well worth the price IMO...

PORKYSULTDVDCOL.jpg

Police Academy
Matrix
Karate Kid
Revenge of the Nerds
Speed
Jaws

I'm sure there are 100s that stunk it up. :laugh2:

Exorcist II

The Sting II

Blues Brothers 2000

Basic Instinct II

Wow.

Never heard of Basic Instinct II or American Graffiti II.

I have never seen most of the movies listed here.

If I had to list the worst sequel of all times, it would have to be Legally Blonde 2.

I heard that was terrible.

I remember Sharon Stone getting ripped for playing a part that should have been played by a 20 something year old.

Caddyshack II.

The difference between I and II is as wide as Jessica Alba vs. Janet Reno in a bikini contest.

then you're a lucky man

I agree many of these suck, but Caddyshack II is by far still the worst because you have to compare them to the original.

Not a Jason fan? He didn't start killing until #2.

I loved Halloween I and II. Now Season of the Witch (III) was a dog, as well all the ones that came after that (excluding H20).

Mine:

Blues Brothers 2000
Jaws: The Revenge
Speed II

Probably because the first wasn't worth much in itself to even consider remembering a sequel.

Blues Brothers 2000 was one of the more horrible ideas ever. The original was pure genius.

Nah...the sequels to meatballs and dumb and dumber are far worse than Caddyshack II. At least there are a couple of laughs with Quaid playing the crazy lawyer in Caddyshack II.
