I'll start. 70 degrees, One leg in and one leg out. Fan on low for just a "White Noise" and my left hand on my wife hip. Soft night light in the hall (Not totally dark).

I like it totally dark, a little bit of noise whether it be a ceiling fan or radio. Keep the AC on 72-74 at night in the summertime and heat around 65 usually unless it is just bitter bitter cold. I like it cool. Also have several sets of sheets, one for the summer, one for the winter.

When I'm at home it's complete darkness, as quite as possible, and temp around 72 degrees. That's how my wife likes it. When I'm on the road I generally have the temperature a bit colder and I always like to sleep with the TV on. Having the TV on distracts me if I wake up in the middle of the night thinking about the stuff I have to do that day.

I just can't have the radio. I listen and mouth the words to the songs and never really shut down..:D:(

Before Raunchy @Ranching comes over it's set to 72. By the time he leaves, it's a heat wave & I have to turn down to 62. :muttley:

SUMMER: You'll be shocked but 80-82 with ceiling fans on. No comforter. Anything down near 72 and I'd definitely need to use my comforter and likely wake up with a sore throat from the cold, not to mention a sky high electric bill.
WINTER: 60s to save energy with my down comforter. For some reason colder temps don't bother me in winter like they do in summer. Odd I know....
I leave a string of mini Cristmas lights turned on in the bedroom window for atmosphere.

Those are my ideal sleeping conditions. However, the 74 degrees is not my WIFE'S ideal sleeping conditions, which varies. If she's cold, it's a sleepy, lazy backhand against my head and "Turn the heat on! I'm freezing!" If she's hot, it's a half-awake kick in my thighs (we sleep back-to-back by the way) and "Turn on the air! I'm burning up!"

First off, just how the bleepity-bleep does anyone 'turn on air' anyway????? Second of all, how does this woman always land backhands and kicks to the same exact spots on my body when she is basically still asleep????? And third, why the heck is it always me getting up and stubbing my toes adjusting the thermostat?????

I hate hormones.

As long as you're in charge of the heat/ac, you should be in charge of the TV too.
