That's a kick-*** list, t75.

I love the Murphy's and Flogging Molly. By far the best shows I've ever been to.

I just heard some Jedi Mind Tricks today, and it completely rawked my sawks.

Also, New Noise is one of the greatest songs of all time. If anyone hasn't heard it -get to hearin' it.

A year later, and I had had to pull that playlist out to go shred the mini ramp for a while. Still rocks.

The new Flogging Molly comes out on the 4th of next month IIRC. I can't wait.

I've been going through somewhat of an old-school revival as of late. Been posting the ipod up on a lot of Suicidal Tendencies...."You Can't Bring Me Down" is one of the reasons I started loving music. That new Ferrel movie reminded me of another childhood favorite. Wreckless Eric is an acquired taste, but he's got some gems. Anthrax, AC/DC, Stiff Little Fingers, Bad Brains, Buddy Holly, and Mobb Deep have seen a resurgence in activity on my MP3 lists too.

Specific songs? Can't really think of any. I just throw in CDs for my trips to and from work. The CDs in the truck consist of:

Avenged Sevenfold - City of Evil
Avenged Sevenfold - Sounding the Seventh Trumpet
Avenged Sevenfold - Waking the Fallen
Collective Soul - Greatest Hits
Dave Matthews Band - Busted Stuff
Dave Matthews Band - Before These Crowded Streets
Disturbed - Ten Thousand Fists
Muse - Black Holes and Revelations
Radiohead - In Rainbows
Radiohead - The Bends

I routinely trade them out, but those have been in there for quite a while.

I don't really have a playlist as I mostly listen to nerdy podcasts. I'll listen to satellite radio or internet radio if I want music. What I used to do to discover music on Sirius was randomly pick which station to leave up for a day with a little javascript. That got annoying when it kept coming up with oldies or country, though.

Anyway, I'll list the first 15 items on my MP3 player.

1. Iraq and the future of the U.S.
2. Russia Present and Future
3. A Reality Check in Urban America
4. From Sub-Prime to Prime-Time--A Debate
5. India-The Emerging Giant
6. Kenya - Forward to Peace
7. The New Asian Hemisphere
8. The Three Trillion Dollar War
9. Pakistan's Parliamentary Election
10. Planning for a Post-Fidel Cuba
11. Transnational Gender Symposium
12. The Future of Media
13. Advances in Contemporary Islamic Finance; from practice to scholarship
14. Beauty and the Beast - Numbers and Public
15. Creating a World Without Poverty: how social business can transform our lives

Those look like everything found on the UChannel podcast: http://uc.princeton.edu/main/index.php

BTW country fans if you like stuff like Willie Nelson and Townes van Zandt -- the new Hayes Carll is outstanding.
