Nah... lol If I go to the game, I'd probably take my cousin whose a big Cowboys fan, but is unfortunately engaged to a Giants fan. smh

I live in an area of Cowboys hate (Houston). If I'm not at the game, I prefer to watch alone so I don't have to hear other people's mouth...even the friends that are Cowboys fans.

I usually just keep it solo. Me and the Zone chat room. lol

I'm the same way, I perfer to yell at the TV by myself:D

I could be in a house full of people ALL watching the game and I'll still go to a different room so I can watch in peace. I come out for commercial breaks and halftime. lol

I've stock piled 25 gallons of fresh water, a 6 month supply of MREs, 3 month supply of non perishable food, put together a large medical kit, split a cord of wood, collected 15 gallons of petrol, and have a couple thousand rounds of ammunition.

I'll try to avoid all media coverage.Posiitve and negative.

Avoid the Talkin Cowboys and Lunch Break podcast.

Totally ignore camp battles. Watch the progress with my own eyes in preseason games.

Yeah, my wife gets upset at times when I jump up and start yelling. Doesn't matter if I'm cheering or screaming at Romo. But she's a great girl. She sits thru all the games with me. All you have to do is feed her french fries or pizza! :D

I could never be with a rival fan. My wife is a Cowboys fan by default because if she wasn't she'd be divorced lol.

Well, he's a good guy despite his fandom, so I let it pass. lol

Plus, it makes for good debates when the game isn't on.

I'm thinking about getting me a Dez Jersey. If I do, it would be the first jersey I ever owned from an offensive player. Have a Lee Roy Jordan, R. White, Harvey Martin, 2 Charles Haley's but no offensive players. OK, Haley was offensive, but you know what I mean.

I prefer to watch the games alone, too. I just end up getting aggravated at whoever I'm watching it with. Except for my wife... She knows to not say much to me during the games.

As for the pre-game ritual - typically, it is to get on CowboysZone and read some until game time. And Mountain Dew. I gotta have about 6 of those to make it through the game.

So do we win more often with pancakes or what? The cooking surrounding the games fascinates me as well as making me envious and hungry. :)

LOL I never really thought of that...thanks alot now I have yet another superstition to track lol, all this time I was thinking it was something else I may have been doing wrong and now it's probably the breakfast selection I'm making lol...no it's whatever the kids want that morning. Sunday games are a big deal around this house...might as well be named a festival lol.

Aahhh! So you are the responsible for our playoff drought! :D Give the kids what they want. I'm glad you enjoy the games so much.

Thanks jobber...as if I didn't already have enough pressure on me. But I will gladly shoulder this pressure if it effects wins or losses lol.

I hear you on that one...my wife is either a Boys fan or not a fan of football at all! LOL I told her when we first got married that if she wasn't going to like the Cowboys then she would not be able to claim any team at all around my family. Told her that if she did then she may mysteriously disappear one day...ya it's serious in my family

Season starts and the Friday jersey rotation starts (unless it's a Monday night game, then I'll wear it on Monday). Usually I'll start the season old school to try to build up some positive karma (Roger,TD,Lilly, or one of the triplets), then Romo and DWare. And matching caps of course (royal, navy, white or gray). No pre-game ritual, really. If my wife's soccer game conflicts with the game, I just take some headphones. Last season when Dez caught the jump ball against the Gints I was at a soccer game. It was at a stopping point so it was kind of quiet, and I was standing on the next to the top bleacher listening to the game. When Brad Sham called it I screamed at the top of my lungs, jumped off the bleachers and threw my hat down in pre-mature celebration. needless to say everybody was staring at me like I was crazy.

Then I crank on the music and the wife and I do a little house cleaning followed by me playing whatever team we are playing that week in a game of Madden. After that's all said and done it's about 11 o clock now....so I'll turn the tube to watch the pregame show, however I make it a point to turn the TV off when they start doin predictions. I refuse to read anything about any type of predictions involving the Dallas Cowboys...no threads, posts, news articles or TV. I will close my ears and yell in order to not hear that thing which will ruin my day/week.

I used to play the team we were playing in madden and then I thought I jinx it.

I thought I was the ONLY one who ran to turn the TV frantically when FOX or CBS gives there predictions. Also I love watching NFL match up on ESPN, but me and my superstitions felt like EVERY-TIME I watched it we would lose, therefore I only watched it on our bye week.

As far as what Im doing for prep, Aside from going to my annual home game, I want to go to a road game as well, I got this idea from a group of Browns fans on an NFL films special. I'm going to go to Kansas City. I already have a 47 in a 32 inch and a 19 inch TV in my "game room" so I can't get anymore. The only over thing I am gonna do is give better coverage to Cowboys fans via my blog, also if you are a person that doesn't get to see games when there are not televised, I stream games via my blog so just hit me up if you wanna be included to see the broadcast.
