The way the players were talking, bradie james, witten, etc, this type of game has lasting effects, and it stays with you,

to me, i am seeing alot of inmaturity with the star young players,

like witten, even he admitted that he blew a pre snap penalty, but yet he does it every week, when he is going to be man enough to stop it.

till these young players grow up, Witten, James, Canty, Spears, Ware, Romo, Carpenter, Watkins, Newman, Gurode (i think he is finally coming into his own, no more really stupid bone head plays yet from him), Barber, Crayton,

then this team isnt going anywhere.

i remember back in 1973, the great OT rayfield wright, would spend an extra hour after pratice, and everyone going home, to tutor Harvey Martin, help him mature, just like Roger Staubach would spend extra time with Drew Pearson, till the players are willing to spend extra time on film, study, pratice wtih the vets, etc, then this team wont grow up.

They'll probably give me an ulcer but I ride or die with this team. The playoffs are still a good possibility. When will I get over it? Probably by Wednesday.

This team has to show they can win at least two in a row more than once a season to be considered anything but a pretender. Dare we go for three in a row? :banghead:

Speaking of winning one and losing one. Looking at our schedule, I can see us doing that the rest of the season.

@Arizona win
Indianapolis lose
Tampa Bay win
@N.Y. Giants lose
New Orleans win
@Atlanta lose
Philadelphia win
Detroit Ok a win here.

We go 5-3 rest of the way and end up 9-7 again.

I'm still waiting to get over the '81 Championship game loss.
I'm barely over last years Monday night meltdown. I'll be over this one for the most part later this week. But I'll remember it for awhile.

Fortunately Washington isn't going anywhere this year.

I know it really should not be funny. But expectations have fallen so far that I see people defending this team and talking about playoffs and crap like that.

I said before the Panthers game that Dallas needs to win their three games on the road and all I saw were if we can 2-1 I will be happy.

Even once we beat the Panthers who was the supposed loss in this road trip people are still ok because hey 2-1 is what they wanted out of this trip.

My how have expectations fallen.

Yeah. A win today and we would've been 5-3. I felt like 5-3 the second half could be tough but doable. I don't see us going 6-2 or better now, when we only won 4 games at the halfway point.
There will be no playoffs for either of these teams. But for those who still believe in Santa Claus, go ahead and keep believing.

I only see 3 wins that are going to be easy-medium. The rest were going to have to hard work for.

This one will sting for a long time, esp if we miss the playoffs by one game.
