When I am wrong I admit it; and then i can move on. I just found out that romo did win 2 playoff games in his junior high school, but none else. And he did win a golf amateur championship. So, since he has won 2 playoff games his junior year in high school and a golf championship, and the way romo is working to improve his strength, endurance, throwing and working hard. I am changing my mind alittle about him on golf. Romo finally won a golf thing, so maybe this is the step in the direction with him as the Cowboys QB to help the cowboys win championships.
My thoughts on OTAs, mini camps and training camp are the same though, when football is going on, his total focus should be on football, but on his free time on weekends etc, then thats his free time.

Here is where he won an amateur golf championship in april 2009;
Cowboys’ Romo Wins Amateur Golf Tourney; RIDICULOUS!!!
By MKRob | April 21st, 2009
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo shot a final-round, 3-under 69 to erase a three-shot deficit and win the Will County Amateur Championship on April 20.
Romo had the low round of the day and nearly matched the tournament-low of 4-under 68.
The tournament was played at the par-72, 6,700-yard Balmoral Woods Country Club in Crete, Ill.
In March, Romo tied for 36th at the Azalea Invitational. Romo has also tried to qualify for several professional events. In 2004, he unsuccessfully attempted to qualify for the EDS Byron Nelson Championship. He endured the same fate when he tried to qualify for the 2005 U.S. Open. Most recently, he failed to qualify for the Byron Nelson in 2008.
Reaction: As a Cowboys fan this is absolutely RIDICULOUS!!!
This is exactly why the Cowboys are going to suck again. Romo should be taking this offseason to work towards getting better for the 2009 season, not playing amateur golf.
If Romo sucks this year, they need to release him. After that he should try to play golf professionally and not football. This kind of action shows me he’s just living the celebrity life and not focusing on his job as the Dallas Cowboys starting quarterback.
This is exactly how I felt during the playoffs when he and Jason Witten took their significant others out of the country during the NFL Playoffs. He should be FOCUSED on this year.
He should be watching film, studying the playbook, working out, running, throwing passes to Jason Witten, Patrick Crayton and Miles Austin.
I’m done with this post, I could go on and on. But I do have one question for my fellow Cowboys fans and other football fans as well.
Do you think Romo should be playing amateur golf during the offseason rather than doing the things that I said in this post???
