When is Lawrence expected back?

One of the obvious weaknesses still on this team is the pass rush. It's slightly better than I thought it might be but it still is fairly weak. With Spencer back, that could help. I am curious when Lawrence is expected back.

He is eligible to come back after week 8; however, I don't think he is allowed to practice before then and might need a week or two of practice before being ready for game action. Also, that is assuming that he is 100% healthy by that time. It was reported that he just started running about a week ago.

I'm still concerned about our pass rush and really hope he can provide a much needed boost to that when he returns.

It's weird, though, to be getting into a season and getting players *back* instead of losing them. Scandrick, McClain (Terrell), Spencer, Hamilton, Brent (I don't want to talk about his history), and eventually Lawrence.

If Crawford finds a spot inside, and Spencer rounds into shape on the edge, and Lawrence pans out in some selective spots....this bad talent on defense might not be so bad, after all. That of course means hitting on a lot of stuff that looked fairly unlikely at the start of the season (e.g.: Brent, Spencer giving us anything at all, Lawrence panning out at a position of major need), but you can kind of see it all having a chance of working out right now. How much of a difference does that Rolando McClain signing make right now? It's crazy how much one impact player can affect a unit with 11 different starters on it.

Right? I know I was hoping they'd be just 'bad' and not 'awful' this year. And there's a long way to go, obviously. But they've shown some signs of being average out there, and, with a pass rush, they could be a bit better than that, still.

I think the rule is that he can return to practice after six weeks, and isn't eligible to be activated until after eight weeks.
