No, I don't mean from beyond the grave. But rember 2007? Glenn sat out almost the entire season with an injury, while TO and Crayton (yes, that Crayton) ate defenses alive. It seemed like there was a thread here every week asking when Glenn would be back in anticipation that our offense would be even more explosive. Now, this season, Gallup is out and we don't know when he will be back yet, but there is much anticipation about his impact when he finally gets back. Just another point of how this year feels similar to 2007 so far. But let's hope we get a little better ending to this season. ;)

Terry Glenn was with the C'boys a good while back -- he's probably selling real estate now, or some such pursuit. :muttley:

Yeah Crayton was one of those that looked good during the season but punked it up in the playoffs. TWO separate plays against the Giants he blew- either one could very well have been the game winner.

I look forward to getting Gallup back but what this extended time has shown me is the depth we have at WR. Cedric Wilson has played very good ball, his play on 4th and 4 leaping grab with 1:22 left in the game was outstanding and without that play we don't win the game. I do think Gallup brings a bigger playmaking ability but overall Cedric has done an outstanding job of helping this team. I fully expect him to continue to get playing time even when Gallup returns.

I think Wilson is way more talented.

TG was one of my favorite players on those teams. Dude was an absolute stud. RIP TG
Wilson and Gallup are different players
Gallup is better outside, and a very good double move guy
Wilson’s strength is inside where he’s quick in and out of breaks
Both make the tough catches though Wilson has more reliable hands
There is plenty of balls for both

I was referring to Crayton when I said that Wilson was more talented.

I love Gallup but we are not going to see much of a difference in this offense - it will be marginal. Only so many balls to go around.
