The boat is the Dallas Cowboys, Rose is Dak Prescott and Jason Garrett is Jack. When all is said and done Dak's going to be sitting comfortably on the door as he watches Jason Garret sink into the abyss. The sad part is Dak is going to lose a lot of coaches and players there jobs.

No the quarterbacks don't all suck, but it doesn't matter. The play calling kills any chance this team has to make a SB run, unless they get a Brady or Rodgers or such and let him call the plays, which Jason will never let happen...
I was only referring to our team in case you missed that.

“Kill” audible when Romo used it basically amount to, “screw the play calm of this idiot, Dez get open and Witten, find a hole in the zone..”

How is that the sad part? Dak would become a hero and his name should be added to the Ring of Honor.

Quick...how many "game ending INTs" can you recall from his entire career?

We'll all wait.

And I don't follow you at all. You're mostly ignore worthy.

But we are talking about firing Garrett here, who was another excuse for not only Dak, but Garrett..

I said coaches and players. We could very easily lose guys who will go to other teams and thrive just because there new QB can throw 8 yard passes. Hell, everyone here is already trying to reboot our "******" offensive line even though they are giving Dak the 2nd most time to throw and allowing Zeke to average nearly 6 yards a rush. Like I said, he's gonna get a lot of people fired, and it's not always greener.

When was the last time we heard this from our QB? Is Dak not given teedom to kill a play that's called? Or does he just not read deffenses really well?

They use some RPOs where Dak decides whether to hand off or pass. It's not always obvious to fans because he does not always fake the hand-off like the typical RPO. When it is a hand-off you can only tell by watching 1 or 2 receivers that it was an RPO type play design because everyone else is executing the run part of the Run-Pass option.

RPO:
The QB decides whether to pass the ball or hand-off. The OL is primarily run blocking and some of the WRs/TEs are run blocking.

Between 1 and 3 receiving options (WRs/TEs) execute it as a pass play.

The decision is either partially or completely made pre-snap.

Sometimes the QB fakes a hand-off and then passes. Other times he just passes.

Obviously it's possible that the QB ends up running on any play but an RPO is not a designed run by the QB per se.

The option is to get the best match-up depending on how the defense aligns.

Play Fake (Play Action):
Everyone executes a pass play but the QB/RB fake a run play. The play is like most pass plays except for the fake hand-off.

Read Option:
The QB moves forward as he is handing off to the RB and has the option to keep the ball and run with it himself based on his "read" of a specific defender (usually the DE).

The Read Option is a run play all the way.

Dak's regression is as much a statement of the Dallas front office and the incompetent people they have as coaches - starting with the HC on down. But hey, why be surprised, this is an organization that ran off a coach after winning a super bowl. This is an organization that is the gold standard for dysfunction. We are a circus act, nothing more - I don't expect this to change, not as long as Jerry Jones [and Stephen] fancies himself as a great football mind.
I liked this part of your post, said it good. I added [and Stephen]
the funny thing is Jerry watched the ram game thur night and thought and we are almost that good !
Or he thinks his team is close to being that good.
So if he thinks that there will be no change in coaches or players. or at qb.

Painting Garret as an innocent victim really take the cake.

The poor guy has made millions of dollars and had the opportunity to coach the cowboys for 8 years. Sucking the entire time.

THe poor guy. The world just isn’t fair to some.
