Btw, the Panthers were winless at the point we played them, so a great team should have spanked them for the whole game.

Then I guess we don't have to worry about Atlanta being a "great team," because the Falcons beat Carolina by even less than we did.

More often than not recently we have been the "spankee" rather than the "spanker".

If the Cowboys win the game, Atlanta won't have to worry about the word great being associated with them. If you lose to the Cowboys, it's because you suck, regardless of your record coming in.

You know... its funny. It wasnt a spanking "per se", not score-wise anyway. When we beat the Colts a few years ago. We execute VERY well.

It is hard to believe after watching that game and the 07 game vs the Packers that this is pretty much the same group of players and coaches. We need that type of fire, energy and aggression 16 weeks a year.

From beginning to the end.Honestly last game I remember was the Jets 2007.I could use one of those games.Looks like we are in for nailbiters all year again.

IMO, nothing beats the spanking we put on the LA Rams to get into the 1975 Super Bowl. Sorry if that dates me, but that was a game for the ages.

You had writers crawling all over themselves to call Landry an offensive genius. In my opinion, it was far better than any Super Bowl win, in the "stomp" factor, as we didn't have the best talent that day and the Rams were considered the superior team.

We just outcoached them, big time .. and when was the last time the 'Boys can say that?

Who is this "we" ****? You are the biggest troll on this forum how the hell do you get "we"? Are you referring to some other team?

What a joke.

The only spanking I remember, and it wasn't us doing it unfortunately, was in week 17 of last weeks regular season. Heck, it was worse than a spanking. We got disgraced. We all know what game that was.

When I think of the "All-Out spank a team", I am thinking of what Dallas did to the Eagles back in 2005.

If you remember correctly, it started out as the Bledsoe to Terry Glenn show. Then the Dallas defense clamped down as a rookie named Demarcus Ware and Terrance Newman registered sacks. Safety Roy Williams made some big tackles on Terrell Owens that forced Philly punts.

The one score by the Eagles came when a sideline pass to Keyshawn bounced off him and into the hands of Sheldon Brown. That caused a little ruckus on the sidelines afterwards.

All-in-all, the Cowboys won 33-10, and the total yardage was something like 451-119.

THAT IS A BEAT DOWN, FOLKS!

I want to see one of those again before I start to believe this team is anywhere close to championship caliber.

Amen!
