Let me put it to you this way.

Not under Wade's watch unless we do it this year. That would be 2 years.

Not under Parcells' Watch. That's 4 years.

Not under Campo's watch. That's 3 years.

1999 was the last time we won the last game of the season. We won both years under Chan Gailey.

Then you go all the way back to the last Super Bowl years. We lost in 1994, but won in 1992, 1993, and 1995.

So since the Jerry watch began in 1989 we have won 6 and lost 13 of the last games of the season.

1991, 1992, 1993, 1995, 1998, & 1999 for the wins. We have not won in this decade on the last game of the season.

1989, 1990, 1994, 1996, 1997, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, & 2007 for the losses.

If it helps, 1999 was the last time we were in a do or die situation. And we won vs. a division opponent who was also alive for the same wildcard playoff spot. However, if I recall correctly, the Giants had to beat us by 86 points (or something) to get in.

:laugh2: You and sacowboysfan make a good point. Those other games "didn't matter" and the one that did, we won.:D I'm holding onto anything positive I can.

Ok, not to put a fly in the ointment, but our loss a few years ago to Detroit did mean something (technically) at the time. Had we won and Philly lost, we would have won the division, which meant we would have played at home vs. the Giants instead of on the road against Seattle.

However, Philly won their game so it didn't matter in the big picture.
