When is the most boring time of year?

I'm a big baseball fan so that holds me over from the draft until training camp. From the Super Bowl to start of the conference tournies in College BBall is pretty much hell though. Don't have to worry about that for another 11 months though :)
I really wish I was a baseball fan, because I really do hate that wait between the NBA championship game and training camp.

C'mon Rangers do something to keep me interested..

There are olympics every two years- remember they have split the Winter and Summer games off of the every 4 year thing.

Much of the Olympics are unwatchable - at least what is shown on TV. That stupid figure skating and gymnastics stuff is just horrible to watch.

MLS soccer yes. World Cup soccer, with all the compelling international issues (e.g., U.S. vs. Iran; Germany vs. Israel; teams like France relying immigrant and cultural groups they otherwise treat horribly). That's some compelling viewing.

I agree.

I was on vacation in the Virgin Isles at the time, when some of the earlier rounds were going on, and since it was hot as balls in the middle of the day, I'd come in and watch the world cup at the bar. I got into it fast, and found a nation to root for pretty quickly. I can't watch MLS, but the world cup sucks you in pretty fast if you're not doing anything in the middle of the day, lol.

Used to be draft to TC, but the Mavs have been making it OK the last couple of years with their playoff ability. Hopefully this year all will be OK.

I'm not a big basketball fan, but when it comes to other sports I'm at least fair weather about the Dallas teams.

Now to the draft or draft to TC? I think after the draft since its longer.
Neither. The most boring time of the year is each time Mel Kiper comments about players between each team's selection.

I don't know how many times I've said, "Just shut up, Mel. Geeze!".

The time between the last snap of the Super Bowl and the first pitch on Opening Day.

whoever watches soccer needs to have their head examined after I push it in :D

shut it Summer. you still owe me an "I was wrong, you didn't get owned"

I happen to love gymnastics- perfect blend of strength and agility. Figures someone that thinks soccer is really all that would look down on a real sport like gymnastics.

Soccer is awesome to watch if and only if Team USA is playing.....other than that it is a mundane and coma inducing snoozefest......

Although, I have been able to watch other teams in the World Cup, but usually only the ones in Team USAs bracket.....

For me the most boring time of year is between the time the Spurs season ends and training camp begins....Yes I have the Astros...but I am not big on baseball like I was 10 years ago.....the strikes, steroids, corked bats, greedy players not caring about the fans, etc....just bores me. Also, now that Bagwell has retired and Biggio is about to retire, I have sort of lost interest....after this year, I will find it difficult to watch the Stros...no Bags or Biggs in O8......

The second week after the draft until July 4th. The week after the draft everyone is still buzzing over our draft picks then it begins to taper off.

June is just a bore......I'm asleep at the keyboard 75% of the time instead of 50%. :D

It would suck to die during a Cowboy season not knowing how it turned out. Of course, it would suck just to die.

.

So you like watching what is often one of the worst teams in the tournament?

No - he roots for the US team like he roots for the boys. Which is the way it should be.
