Will they hire Ben McAdoo or go after a big name like Kingsbury?

Or McCarthy takes over the offense with a placeholder OC like Brian Schottenheimer.
Time for McCarthy to earn that offensive genius moniker without having to placate Jerry's Golden Boy.

Kingsbury is not a big name!! He was a losing scrub college coach and he was the same in the NFL, the Cardinals organization were idiots they got caught up in the wave of young HC's in the NFL they thought that they hired an innovative coach, all he does is pass the ball too.

I agree that Moore is inconsistent in his play calling and loses the run:pass balance at times, but this is where MM should step in and make adjustments. So if us fans are to blame KM, should we not blame MM as well? But with that being said, having the #1 offense in the NFL for consecutive years is no small feat.

I don’t think it matter what scheme Dallas runs if the QB is unable to make the right reads and make throws into the right windows. Dak is plenty experienced and after being in the league as long as he has one has to think that he has reached his apex.

I hear the talk about surrounding Dak with more weapons, but will that necessarily translate into Dak improving his accuracy and reading of defenses? Dak seems to hold the ball for longer than he should, hesitates to pull the trigger and gives the DB time to recover to make a play on the ball; he also telegraphs where he is going with the ball, so DBs are sitting on certain routes and jumping them. To me, this sounds like a QB coaching issue.

Whatever it is it must be fixed; we know Jerry isn’t going to admit he make a $160MM mistake in overestimating Dak’s talent, so Dak isn’t going anywhere.

I think it will be difficult to fix given the amount of cap space allocated to Dak’s and Zeke’s contracts; Jerry needs to restructure those contracts to get more cap space to acquire the players needed. I think it’s common knowledge that both players have under-performed relative to their contracts.

Quite the conundrum…maybe time to draft a QB and start to groom.

Can’t rid of the real problem so the scapegoat get the gate
yep, maybe we need a new offensive line, wide receivers, and defense too. that's the logic around here instead of getting rid of the mouth-breather loser. shrugs, another year wasted and many more to come. can you say dak garrett?

Also, there's he Zeke snapping the ball play. Does any OC survive that play call?
....that play had to come from watching Big Junior running over the whole team in his Pee Wee league game. Found on Youtube. May have been the first question asked of KMoore in the interview.

Probably someone who worked with Garrett or Linehan.
Why change the offensive scheme? It's only been the exact same since Wade freaking Phillips coached here. What could go wrong?

According to McCarthys in his presser yesterday Kellen Moore is being evaluated and wouldn’t commit to him coming back. There’s a real good chance he’s gone. I think the Cowboys want to go in a new direction at OC to try and help Dak get his consistency back and limit his INTs. If a new OC doesn’t work, then you have to start looking at Dak.

I think the latter, I am expecting MM to become the playcaller and bring on the WCO.
MM should already be calling plays... that was his expertise in SF and GB. He was excellent and he came out the west coast offense in SF.

Anyone from the Shanahan tree please. With Quinn staying, getting a Shanahan offense would make this a better team for sure.
...and once again you are talking about a variation of the West Coast offense. 3-2-1 get rid of the ball. Tired of seeing Dak holding on forever waiting for the receiver to be open.

Good luck running the WCO offense with a QB who can’t throw a slant
...well he can't throw that deep-out either so I would take my chances on Dak learning to the throw the slant. it's a 12-yard pass.
