Easy to say it now. I wasn't happy at the time, but after giving it some thought, I like many of you were like "how far would Dallas go even if they were to make it to the postseason?"

There is NO WAY this draft would have set up as nicely for Dallas had they been drafting behind Philly. The Eagles need a WR in the worst way, as well as a CB. They could have been zeroing in on Diggs in round 2.

I'm not advocating always finishing behind Philly. But if comes down to the battle of 8-7s, then count me out. I'd rather go 8-8 and pick in front of them.

Glad we beat the Skins to end the season now. I was concerned at the time it would hurt us in the draft. Guess not!

When is the last time the patriots had a top draft pick?

Teams like the dolphins, jets, browns, ect have pretty consistently had good draft position in recent history and still struggle.

A higher draft pick is nice, but I'd rather have the win if there are playoff implications.

The best thing that happened was us losing that game

for 1 seattle would've manhandled us like they did the second game of the 2012 season

2 the same coaching staff would still be here because they would've won back to back nfc east titles

3 our draft wouldnt look nearly as good and we probably take a good first rounder and several project players

I’d rather go 9-7, win the division and go to the playoffs.... because that’s kind of the point of everything....

Imagine turning down the playoffs because you can draft a couple spots higher

While I do agree....it does show how pointless it is to back into the playoffs though. It's the differnce between drafting CEE Dee Lamb and drafting Jalen Reager.

Not to mention that it sealed Garrett's fate. I call that loss a win-win.

I understand this completely.....i think most of us see it as a positive because had we gone to the playoffs we very likely would see the same coaching staff here....and I for one wouldve broken down if they were still here

You're thinking micro not macro.

We technically didn’t steal Lamb from Philthy. We didn’t jump them to grab a receiver. Lamb fell to us and we took him. I’m sure they knew Philthy would want him but that’s Rosemans fault for not pulling the trigger.

Philthy jumped in front of us to take Goedart. I know the Jones’ deny they were going to pick him but you never know.
