For what this team needs in the next 2 years, Reagor would have actually been amazing for us. His best role is a slot. As someone who’s watched him play, he would have been awesome in McCarthys scheme and is the best punt returner in the country. I was for him at 17. He would have given us a Chiefs style offense dimension we haven’t had.

The Eagles problem is Reagor is not a #1 in the NFL. Relying on him to be that will be a disappointment.

Lamb is a much more complete receiver and is capable of being a #1, which is what Philly needs. But as starting out as a #3, the results the first two years would have been similar between him and Reagor.
While there is some truth to this....Amari needed more reps in the slot so I think they can make some things work there.

Easy to say it now. I wasn't happy at the time, but after giving it some thought, I like many of you were like "how far would Dallas go even if they were to make it to the postseason?"

There is NO WAY this draft would have set up as nicely for Dallas had they been drafting behind Philly. The Eagles need a WR in the worst way, as well as a CB. They could have been zeroing in on Diggs in round 2.

I'm not advocating always finishing behind Philly. But if comes down to the battle of 8-7s, then count me out. I'd rather go 8-8 and pick in front of them.
Yup...i have been thinking this since they too Lamb. Meanwhile...Philly has drafted an undersized Slot wr/PR, a backup qb behind their $100million dollar qb and an undersized lb with their picks.

They never learn.

Roseman isn't a good drafter but what he does with trades, contracts, and free agency is incredible. Eagles fans should be ashamed ragging on him even a little bit. He took a team decimated by Chip Kelly that should have taken 5-10 years to rebuild and won a SB in 2 seasons.

He’s been screwing up since that championship run. Free agency and the draft. But he deserves more respect than what they giving him but I would be livid if he pulled that 2nd round pick in us.

He got lucky as hell in his super bowl year. Made all of the wrong moves and they all worked out.

Has struck out ever since with same type moves.

He had 2 amazing offseasons back to back. Lucky yes. With the whole bradford situation was unbelievable. But he still navigated and made the moves. I would take him over jerry/stephen/mcclay as gm any day of the week.

He can trade but his drafts are absolute crap. This could be the worst one he’s done,

Cowboys are leaving the Eagles In the dust talent wise.

I was going to make a post asking if the forum would rather beat Philly and win the East or have CeeDee Lamb.

Garrett probably keeps his job too.
I think I'd have given Philly the division AND Lamb to get Garrett out

Agreed he has struggled drafting. But the reagor pick is to replace jackson after this season. Hurts is to have a really good backup for when wentz gets hurt again. The 3rd round pick was prolly their worst.

Now the packers qb pick trading up to take a backup qb in the first after just signing rodgers and making it to the nfc champ game is a braindead pick.

I do give him credit for navigating all of that and he did make the moves.

He has tried similar and none have worked out.

I would not take him over our setup at all. We put emphasis on the draft and generally do well. We have the right approach in FA for the most part but i would like them to grab a player every now and then.

Cowboys have gotten more agressive in the trade market the last couple of years taking a page from them.

We are on the right track. They are not IMO

You crazy. Our system has produced nothing in terms of winning success.

Not a fan of the Reagor pick but don’t have as big an issue with that as his others,

Hurts is a waste of a pick. He’s not developed enough s a passer to be a true back-up and he’s not worth a 2 for a gadget package.

At best you create a QB controversy
At worst you waste a 2.

They justify it by saying they want to develop and flip QB’s. That’s dumb, you are losing 2-3 years of another player starting and contributing while waiting for the QB to develop.

There was zero value in the Hurts pick when Mims, Epeneza, etc were there.

And then they pick another project in the 3rd.

So first 3 rounds and they’ve gotten one guy they can count on being ready to start. Worst draft in the NFL so far.
