When Romo finally has a bad game

I hope we can find a way to win anyway....and I DO NOT want to hear too many people blame the season on him. We wasted an unbelievable performance by Romo this past Sunday. He actually did not play THAT bad against the Giants when you take everything into account. So let's just keep our fingers crossed that when he finally has a game like a QB who has only started 2 NFL games in his life...it won't cost us a playoff berth

Was 1-15 a problem? It wasn't for me because the QB question had finally been answered.

I honestly don't care what we do this year. Sure I'd like to see us in the playoffs but it's really the furthest thing from my mind. Right now I'm just gonna enjoy the special treat for the future that we've been given. This thing only gets better from here on out. What happens, happens, and I can accept that now that I know we've prepared the most important position on the team for the future.

When Romo has a bad game, which will happen folks, I suspect we will get the "Aikman had an occasional bad game" posts.

what I want to know is if parcell's could coach a worse team up all the way to the playoffs(quincy) why he can't do it with this team that is decidedly better from a talent stand point. Can sean peyton coach our offense part time?

No doubt Romo will sooner or later have a bad game as all QB's do. To me what matters is how a player bounces back from a bad outing. If Romo can shake off a bad outing and come back the following week and get the job done then all question I have about him as the leader of this team will be put to rest. As for fan reactions face it some will use a bad outing to make their point that Romo is not the guy and nothing Romo will ever do is going to change that

Because that team was down and out and had had 3 (5-11 ) seasons in a row and knew they had to work to be successful. This team seems to believe that if they have a bad day in practice, thats OK, because they will show up on gameday and it just does not work like that.

This team lacks concentration and focus period!

To a degree I think he did that after the NYG game.

I agree but I was talking about as a starting QB. I thought of the Giants game prior to making the post but given the fact that his snaps were some what limited going into the giants game I felt using that game would be a bit unfair. I'm looking at it more from the point when Parcells annonced Romo is our guy

I guess my feeling is that a 3 int half in your first game playing is probably tougher to come back from than a bad game after a few good ones.

I guess it depends on the person. Going into a game being uncertain of your status is a lot different than knowing your going to be the man all week long. I think guys prepare a bit different and clearly have a different mindset leading up to the game.

I'm waiting for a bad game, I want to see him get up, dust himself off, and be a leader. That will be one of two big tests.

When Romo does have a BAD game...it would be nice to see the Defense or the Running Game step up and get the win for him....

it's easy to sneak up on teams when you have been 5-11 3 years in a row

you are not sneaking up on anybody when Peter King predicts you to win the Super Bowl

You are not sneaking up on anybody when you add Terrell Owens to your roster

You are sneaking up on anybody when it is your 4 of a Parcells operation

And lastly, we are and will always be everyone's Super Bowl, which is something anybody who makes the 53 man roster must have drilled into their head before every game...all we had to do Sunday was concentrate for 6 more seconds and we did not do it...

How many more games do we have to lose because we didn't play to the final gun, before guys realize that most opposing players and fans can die happy knowing the ruined our day????????

Why would you work so hard for 59 mins and 54 seconds to just give the game away???????

This is what probably puzzles Parcells and will send him to an early grave if he does not fix it or quit first. We are right there ready to get the W and it's almost like we are afraid of success or don't now how to finish. How many deep balls this year where the players in the right position ONLY to not even make a play on the ball? The coaches have the guys right there...they just seem to freeze up in the moment. Once or twice is an aberration. But Pat Watkins is 6'5" wit a 40" vertical...and he does not even jump. Columbo blocks correctly all day, but decides to not block the guy in front of him on the most important play of the day.....I mean my gosh...forget it..let me get some work done for the first time this week.

this is what bothers me. the guy plays about as well as you can, and we still lose to the freaking skins, who suck. we complained about bledslow holding the team back but now qb is one of the better positions with romo.
when, not if, he has a bad game, are we going to really suck and lose to a crappy team like the cardinals, or is the rest of this over-rated team going to step up and earn their money?
