If we win I will be happy we won and have a good week. If we lose I will go to tankathon and see how our draft position changed. This year I am looking for the positive any way I can. Life is too short to be miserable. My expectations are so low that I am not feeling the normal sting of a loss each week.

...you're missing the point. Too many holes, not enough CAP, once you've allocated over 20% of the CAP on a QB that's needs too much support to perform. When you pay your QB $240M he has to stand up and play to the contract. His last contract was based on the knowledge that we could restructure, give Dak/us a CAP debt inflated team and then spread it in this contract.

Unfortunately, between a naïve GM whom I think wanted/expected a career ending contract and Dak who wanted money AND MORE IMPORTANTLY 4 years we do not have the same ability to restructure to the same level as before. Unless we want to get shafted again (when he's 35), we need to pay his debt up in 2028.

You can deflect away from Dak and you may be right that he gets a disproportionate amount of hate, but he's helped

Whether we win or lose….we need drastic change. We need a big offseason. If Rush wins it means nothing unless we get time nfc championship game. If he loses oh well.

We needed that change a couple of months ago....it's now too late, the bed's been made between Jerry/Dak. Too many holes, too little CAP....we cant even look at restructuring Dak's contract as that will put us in another position where we need to extend him again just to spread that fudged CAP.

There's no other way to look at it, Dak needed to step up, play to/above his contract and overcome the lack talent his contract has helped to construct.

The change will only come once there's an proper GM and we've paid off the majority of Dak's contract

We all know how this works. People blaming everything but Dak will now start blaming Rush for failures. Personally, I would put Lance out there and when he falls flat on his face as everyone expects, cut him and move on. If he does well his trade value might increase.

When he is part of the losses, smart people will realize that a Qb that makes 2 million a year can lose just as easily as the 60 million dollar qb does here

What happens is NOTHING, the two clowns running the show will continue to churn out excuses no matter how badly the team fails. Even if Rush leads the team to 4 consecutive wins, NOTHING changes because they've paid Dak too much to have him ride the pine, that would be admitting they made a mistake. They will continue to proclaim how proud they are about players and coaches and tell us how nobody could do a better job at running the team than they do. They will always have an excuse or just a bold face lies to feed the media and fans.

The bottom line is they hold all the cards and have shown a very consistent pattern of ineptitude, and they certainly aren't selling their cash cow anytime soon. So buckle up and get used to disappointment because that's all they really provide.

Not “this team.” He led the 2022 team to 4-1 which was a MUCH better team than this team. Rush also won a game in 2021 which again was a MUCH better team than this one.

OK, so we clear then the team Dak had before this was good and you’ve been blowing smoke about Dak all this time about Dak not sucking it up when all is said and done..
