When we beat the Lions, what will you admit?

Will you admit that we are a bonafide contender? A cut above the rest in the NFC? What does a win mean for you, at this point of the season against a very good Lions team?
I'll admit the Cowboys are a bonafide contender when they win in the divisional round of the playoffs. It's been a while.

Lions RB Gibbs is going to give our so-called run D fits. I'll be surprised if they hold him under 125 yards.

Dallas wins Saturday night:
a) both teams will have identical 11-5 records
b) Cowboys will have a better conference record by one game...8-3 for DAL against DET being 7-4.

'DakotaReign' --cease with the declaration demands you want from CZers at this juncture.
How about you revisit the topic, say late Sunday night - January 7th, 2024 -- when the 2023 league regular season is completed?

We are good at home and crap on the road. Getting past the wild card round looks like it will be a let down.

I'll admit they play better at home than on the road.

It means nothing to me. I expect them to win. It's all about the playoffs at this point.

A home win vs a good team doesn't tell us anything new.
A loss might be a bit of a bummer but a home win is mostly expected.

We're a top 3 team in the NFC, I fully expect to beat the Lions at home. Do I think we can beat them in Detroit? No. I also don't think we can beat both the Eagles and 49ers on the road. Not going to happen. I do think we can get a bit lucky and beat 1 team on the road.
Even the top 3 parts is more for the whole season vs how everyone is playing right now.
The Rams and even to some degree, the Bucs, are playing pretty good right now, for example.

Why are people already convinced we are doomed to a 5 seed and road trip entering the playoffs? If we win our last two games and the Giants beat Philly in week 18, we will be the 2-seed, host a game in the first round, and most likely the divisional round too.

Philly can lose to Arizona, doesn’t have to be NY

It gets real interesting if the 49ers lose at Washington on Sunday.
