Groundhog Jerry......When he pops his head up again, we will have six weeks of mayhem and turmoil in this organization. Keep your head down.

It’s usually at the Senior Bowl when we hear from him and jughead jr. We’ll get to hear how optimistic Jerry is about 2024 and that he can’t think of anyone better to be stuck in a bunker with than Mike McCarthy.
Well if Jr is taking over, it should be never.

If only we could be so lucky

Senior bowl probably
(1) East-West Shrine Bowl next Thursday, February 1st at Ford Center - for the first time.
(2) Senior Bowl is Saturday February 3rd.
Once the conference championship games are done this Sunday - Jones will be front-and-center at these two events.

I used to give JJ credit for at least being a stand up guy after a loss by facing the press. He did do his post game presser after the GB playoff debacle. Complete with tears and shock. Kudos…I guess.

BUT…the guy who cannot say no to a notepad or microphone; the man who along with his son have not one, but TWO local radio shows every week, is suddenly MIA and “unavailable for comment” after his embarrassing “we are really close” statement about keeping McCarthy.

It’s that kind of stuff that makes so tired of his annual call for “credit” because he never seems to allow the blame for failure to point at anyone at the Star named Jones. It’s pathetic.
'Bobhaze' - Yet we all know he and his franchise stirs the drink \ is front-of-mind \ biggest narrative year in, year out - with the sports media covering the NFL..outside of each season going on as fans watch the competition - and the results unfold.

So the cycle begins again. In the immediate aftermath of an embarrassing season, the Jones's say--and do--absolutely nothing, assuming the fans will eventually tire of the outrage and lose interest, until the draft rolls around and we're all high again on hopium.

The owners literally do not give a **** about the loss. The proof is in how little they care to improve or change anything at all. They care so little about their fans and do nothing to satisfy them, because they know they don't have to; they think they're the casino and we are all the chumps just throwing money at them.

This has been the cycle for a decade now and it won't ever change so long as Stephen is in charge.
I have a feeling this year is going to be different as far and fan support goes. People are livid.

I've given him the benefit of the doubt since 1996 because I really thought he was trying to win but just doing it his way. That's over and time's is up for him and his disgusting son. I hope this team implodes.

Hopefully no time soon, as frustrating as it is to see the lack of the accountability that he promised I think I like his mouth shut even better
