First you are willing to hire a consultant...a sign that you do not have faith in your coaching staff, BUT you won't chnage that staff.

Then, he and you cannot reach an agreement with the person you want as a consultant...

Judas, I wonder why Pittsburgh is held in higher regard than us...

Does he not see that this is embarrasing?

Jerry is chasing the illusive dragon...to be known as a Football Guy...until some ackowledges him as that, things like this will be the norm. Shame I now am looking forward to the Stephen Jones era, not knowing how many years the Jerrah run as left in it.....:banghead:

As a wise old movie star once said " a man has got know his limitations"

what do we really know about steven?

will he be another Jerry?

Belichek hired a consultant. That discredits your whole argument.

Bill "Belichick" just lost his Offensive Coordinator and long time friend and General Manager, Scott Pioli.

It is completely ridiculous to compare what the Patriots did and what the Cowboys did.

Jerry wants to be the Head Coach of the Dallas Cowboys:mad:,until he decides not to be, we will never smell the SB.

Difference when THE COACH hires a consultant...NOT THE OWNER...arguement stands.

I suspect when he is sitting in his owners box of his gorgeous 500 bazillion dollar stadium in early October, and notices that half the stadium or more is empty, and that there are more fans of other teams in the house than Cowboys fans, he will start getting it.

I suspect the team will be boo'd off the field to open the new place just as they were boo'd off the field to close Texas Stadium. There's a ton of talent here, but its being wasted.

Agree, lets the Fans.. send the message, We are tired of the GM Jerry Jones and ready to start anew with the start the Stephen Jones ERA,

Stephen Jones will be a owner the Cowboys Franchise, Players and Friends would be proud of.

If that ridiculous effort against Baltimore -- with the fans BOOING in the final game at Texas Stadium -- had no effect on Jerry, I'm not sure anything will.

Really? They both hired consultants. How crazy of me to compare the two.

Difference being that Reeves is a friend of Wade's not Jerry's. Whoops.

I know...thats one of the most disgraceful games I can ever remember watching. I thought after that game there was no way in hell Jones would keep the status quo, then they went out and played a game even 100 times more embarrassing the next week, and status quo is what we got.

His whole front office left him in the last two years, He has openings to replace.

Is that really that difficult to understand?

Appearantly so.

Seriously... He could have replaced the openings, and not hired a consultant...

maybe he wants to be as thorough and un-Jerry as possible in securing candidates for those openings

Let me restate this for you...when the head coach hires a consultant it is not a sign that the head coach does not belive in his abilities. Especially when the head coach has won three super bowls...understood?

When an owner hires one that means he does not think that either he, the owner, or they, the coaches, can do the job. Knowing Jerry, which do you think?

Does that clear it up, or do you need another "whoops" moment argueing a point that you clearly are not understanding?
