I heard on the radio yesterday Mo Claiborne has played in three of the eleven pre-season games since joining the Cowboys. He seems to be constantly hurt and is taking a roster spot of someone who potentially could be on the field.

When is this guy officially a bust in your mind? If not, then who is?

And, do you think he may be the biggest bust of any player selected or picked up in free agency for any team in Dallas, and not just the Cowboys?

Another solid football comment by you. It's difficult to keep my positing up to the level of insight you have for this sport.

Or...

At what point do you no longer have a butt since you LMAO in every post?

It's a style and non denigrating...not all work for everyone else. But no change will be coming down the pike on Claiborne until this season is finished.

You're going on ignore you are highly annoying with these senseless posts just trying to drive up your count.

So long champ...have a nice trip.

And you did wonderfully in protecting your own hostile manner....and good riddence.

I'm really not impressed with a pissy preppie's vantage. I don't scare easy...and if what you talked about was as functional as you profess...nothing else would be needed on site.

Well, he had no hope of ever being worth the trade up and the pick used on him.

That being said, I thought he'd at least be a solid CB running around impacting nothing. I didn't expect this level of bust.

I would have loved to see him in a Parcells camp. I think he may have quit by now.

But to answer your question, TD....is he a bust in terms of being an NFL player? Not yet. But the move to acquire him is one of the worst any team has ever made.

And these geniuses would do it again. That's the worst part.

But, don't you want to pacify the Mo haters and just say that "yes, he is a bust right now!"

That would give them a good nights sleep!

In my opinion, Morris Claiborne must finish his current contract and/or get waived or traded before being officially labeled a bust. Ryan Leaf may be a bigger example of a bust who was drafted by another team, but played for Dallas.

That don't make any sense! Leaf at least played all preseason games. That has to account for something, right?

Obviously, actual cross comparisons are for losers....right?;)

You could be right. But, the Cowboys are the only team to not play their starters in preseason. Or, so I've heard from the "realists" that could not even finish the Basic Obstacle Course, or even the Boy Scout Obstacle Course. lol

It's a fair question, but it's also a tough one. I don't think Claiborne would ever get cut. He isn't a star, but he isn't a liability either.

Consider a player like Russell Maryland. Dude wasn't just a first round draft pick, he was a number one overall pick. He went to all of one Pro bowl and was never a dominant force. Was he a bust?

I think he has to show he can be a big time player this year.

Actually it's not a fair question. It is a baited question to bring out some controversy or drama.

Mo will be judged when his time in Dallas is over, not before or during, because there is not one person on the planet that knows the answer.

He is well on his way to becoming the worst draft day decision in franchise history.
