When will we see 42 Sunday night?

He won’t be getting more touches than Dowdle. He may not get many, if any carries. He only had 13 carries in preseason and they were against third and fourth string players. The fans that have been predicting big things for Vaughn aren’t going to be very happy with his workload in the opener.

I’m doubting we see him at all.
We’ll definitely see him on returns. He might get an opportunity near the goal line to see if he can make a now you see me, and now you don’t move and scamper into the endzone. He can hide behind blockers.

Ok... well.

I'm also looking forward to seeing how it all works out on Sunday night... we have that in common.
I agree. I wish him well obviously. I want him to do well. Maybe they will carry 3 rbs. Interested to see him on the field. I know it's harder to make that cut-down roster than people think. Hopefully he does.

At what point in the game will be get his first carry? Does he get more touches than Dowdel? Please give your thoughts
When you look on the field, and hear the announcer say empty backfield, wait they only have 10 men on the field. Then the sideline reporter chimes in and says, no you just can’t see the 11th man lined up behind Dak from where you are.

Then that is when he will get his first carry.

:lmao2:

It depends on how well the offense is playing. I think he will be on the field by the 3rd or 4th series if we are playing moderately well. If they struggle I can see the coaches waiting a bit longer because nothing is going right and they dont want to take a chance. On the other hand if they come out and execute and are moving the chains and putting up points I imagine they will sprinkle him in and go from there.

i think it’s going to be:
Pollard 15 carry’s
Dowdel 10 carry’s
Duce 5 carry’s.

passing targets
Pollard 5-10
Duce 5-10
That would be a ton of targets. Last year, the Cowboys targeted RBs 85 times, or 5 per game total. If the RBs are getting that many passes thrown their way, I daresay things won't be going well, because it probably means receivers aren't getting open downfield or the pass protection isn't holding up.

any WCO will use the back as and outlet or dump off + screens. that number will jump this year.

I predict Deuce Vaugh's first 2 plays

First: Penalty Flag for horse collar or face mask

Second: Long TD run... House Call:dance:

If they're smart, I'm sure there's at least a handful of plays which involve him. Hopefully the first drive.

I predict after his first decent play, which could be his first play, there will be 1.5 pages instantly in the game day thread either. DEUCE or some form of that, maybe a few with an accompanying few other words.
Some or many of the ... Deuce .... will be drawn out with extra E and U and C in them.
And they will get ... likes ....

The real question is how many nightmares will be Giants have of Deuce gashing then for big yardage.

I agree with a previous poster, 3rd series if you don’t count the opening kickoff.

Five touches, 30 yards. A possible breakaway for 20.
