When will you judge this years team?

So we have the draft and FA ahead of us. We have a completely new coaching staff. At what point will you judge this year's team? Will it be if they start out 1-5 or 5-1? Will it be Thanksgiving? Will it be end of the season?

I have zero expectations based on 29 years of failure in the playoffs.
So my default setting on this team is to expect nothing.

The harsh reality is we are just wandering in the desert until we turn the page on Dak, hopefully with a highly drafted stud at QB. So I won't judge this team because it's obvious the ceiling is mediocrity.

I have e already judged. I know the results. Based on MM and garrett and Wade and Parcells and.....

I don't expect anything. The highest this team.can.achieve is one playoff win. No CCG. Given current roster and QB getting older and more injury prone this team.makingnplayoffs would be an over achievement.

Wait for.excuses mid year...he is first year coach. It's a new.system. injuries. We are rebuilding. Etc....you k ow the routine and by year 3 heat is turned up on shorty. We know Jones never let's a coach go u less we are like 0-6 or 1-7 and fans don't show up...so.shotty is here for 4 years.

Judged them the moment Jerry gave a vote of confidence to McCarthy after the Green Bay disaster. Judged them before this offseason even started, when Jerry said he was shocked we weren't in the Super Bowl because we have the highest paid player in the NFL. That's a wrap, folks.

At the end of the season. Everyone expects them to be #3 in the division. If they show improvement by the end of the season and are competing with good teams, then we may think we are only 1-2 off seasons away.

Draft will also tell us something.
After that, just looking at players in PS games.

Then the reg season,by 8 games in we should have good idea about the new coaches,
and their chances of doing something in 25.

I think shotty and his staff will surprise us, I can only hope he can influence FA and the draft.

Good topic. I have to see who we draft and who we get in free agency. Last year before the season, most fans I knew had low expectations. Mid season seems like a good point to judge the 2025 team. With a new staff, I don't expect a smooth start.
