Where did it all go right?

I'm not really liking all this love, to be honest. Same thing happened last year after Romo's big game against Denver. We could still easily get embarrassed by Seattle and then everyone will say "Dallas is the same old Dallas." I'm happy that we're winning, but we beat teams with a combined 7-12 record and struggled in two of those games.

I really enjoy what the team is doing now, but I want to see us 'turn the corner' and actually beat an elite team like Seattle.

Someone should inform the Texans' coaches their players can't play football just laying around all day.

Don't so much care for the writing (i.e. the article cannot contain enough back-handed compliments) but the sequence of photographs on the Watt miss, Romo - TW hit are worth opening the article.

Can someone explain to me what this is supposed to mean?

Romo also has to realize that his days of playing behind an underperforming offensive line are over. He can’t hold onto the ball forever to make a play like he used to. To his credit, Romo is dumping the ball off to the outlet receiver or running back much more often. He needs to be more consistent with that.
So it's okay to hold the ball longer behind a terrible OL, but when you have a good one you need to get rid of the ball as quick as possible? Huh?

The combined record of the teams we beat is 10-14.

If we lost all those games we would have lost to teams with a combined 11-8 record, including a Texans team and NOlA team thAt would look far more formidable today if we didn't thump them.

Their combined record would be 11-8; 14-10 had they all beat us. In fact the only team that would still have a losing record is Tennessee at 2-3. Just sayin' ...

IT STARTED TO GO RIGHT when Tony Romo, walkon from Eastern Illinoise, thought long and hard and decided he did not half to put his body in constant and emminent danger almost ever play to be a hero. I think maturity is taking over and he is feeling more at ease being the bus driver (excluding yesterday as he masterfully distributed the ball to 5 receivers). he is handing the ball off to great success and picking the time and place to pass.
Yes, he thow into double coverage yesterday for a pick but that wa a an emily and not par for the course (forgive the miss metaphor).

Romo is largely (and Murray) resonsible for the 4-1 but also, a shout-out half to go to the defense that is playing adequately and not horribly as I half predicted. (I know I am being heroric for mein complements which i don't do often.) Still the ranch dip and brisket and refreshments tasted a lot better after that thrill win. I want some more of that type of Romo/Murray/defense performances.

Romo didn't just "think" what has so far been an elite running game and an above-average defense into existence.

It all.started when Linehan kept his word, making Murray the focal point of our gameplan and sticking to it. It's has benefited several aspects of our team and players as well. Thank gawd for Linehan.

The draft the last 4 yrs has been much improved, FA, cutting players like Austin, Ware, Ratliff and Hatcher (doing that alone probably made guys step back and look at themselves)

When Linehan started calling the plays, our offense shined. Under Garrett, we were to predictable. Now we run, run and run some more with our road grading O-Line. By running, it sets up the pass. With our Offense controlling the clock, our Defense prospers and tee's off on the opponent.

Linehan has never ran this much. I don't know why he says it's clear Garrett is uninvolved. I'm actually uncertain who to attribute the change to.
