Where do you rank Ware?

I think it's too difficult to rank him right now until we see what he can do in Phillips' defense. Call me a homer, but I'm hard pressed right now to find a clear cut better 3-4 OLB, mainly because Ware virtually has no real weakness in his game. He could use a few more pass rush moves, but he's still an excellent pass rusher. Merriman got slapped around for free by the Pats when they ran at him and doesn't play coverage. Porter was never much of run stopper and Suggs doesn't do much in coverage. I guess Adalius Thomas would be closest, but if you look at his career stats, it's taken him awhile to get where he's at today.

Being the best 3-4 OLB doesn't just mean pass rushing, it includes run support and pass coverage. Ware is better then Merriman in run and pass coverage and isn't far behind in pass rush. It's to early in his career to judge him being the best of all time but I wouldn't trade him for any other OLB.

DeMarcus is my 2nd favorite player in theleague (behind T.O.) and I would honestly consider him the best all around OLB in the league. Merriman without his roids isn't proven and that just leaves him and Taylor and I think Demarcus is better all arond, when he was given the chance to rush the QB he was very effective but he was mainly playing coverage and still done a good job - the INT on Vick that he returned for a TD (including running Vick over with a stiff-arm) was one of the best defensive plays of the year.
