He contacted me a few weeks ago and said he was going to take a break. A combination of discouragement from the 2008 season and some of the prevailing winds around here. Everyone was angry, hope was not welcome, and it just got to him a bit. He'll be back. He's a faithful fan and a good man.

Its hard to keep hope when the team is turning in meltdowns like AZ, Pitt, Balt, STL, and the cherry on top Philly game.

A lot of us let our hopes get up many times in 2008 only to have the team squash those hopes time after time.

Once bitten, twice shy I guess. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Anyways, the hope will be stronger as the next season draws near. Its just going to take a while to get over the 2008 season.

I am still hurt, disappointed, and in disbelief at how a team with so much talent can be so gutless, heartless, and listless.

I am on here daily reading about the team I will ALWAYS LOVE!
