Where is Roy Williams?

Can anyone who goes to the games tell me that does he line up so far in the secondary that he cannot come up and support the run? How are they using him these days?

A couple of plays on Monday that I saw that were alarming to me were that TD pass to Schobel, he just kind of came up and threw a shoulder into him half speed after the catch and another one was during one of Westbrooks runs he just came up and let the blocker take him out of the play.

He seems to have lost some of his aggressiveness. I only see the games on tv so its hard to tell how he is really playing.

He was coming up to support the run in the second half. He was either getting blocked out of the play or missed the tackle.

Roy Williams is the most mis-used player in the NFL.

We might as well get rid of him because we dont coach to his strengths at all and you can find someone to do the same things he does for a lot cheaper.

As long as Zimmer is around our defense will never take that next step.

Roy is misused. Our linebackers force him to play one way. i still dont know why we cut or traded scott fajita. He is more of a playmaker than james or carp. i think bradie james, spears, and canty suck. Man watching steven jackson plow his way over the Commanders pissed me off. We dropped the ball on that trade!!! Why did we give up on the run. Why didnt barber touch the ball on first or second down?? Where were the screens to owens??? our game plan is the same every week. nothing changes with our offense or defense we play vanilla. Maybe Romo cant handle more a game plan. Atleast with payton last year we ran trick plays. This year nothing. 4 plays in a row we run the same running play. AND STILL CANT BLOCK THE MAN AT END OF THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE!!!

I can't say that we mis-used him against the eagles. In the second half he was up near the line a lot to stop the run but everytime he got blocked right out of the play. And i was watching him several times and instead of trying to blow up the play, ala brian dawkins on that run to the outside where he took out both pulling guards on his own, he allows the blockers to push him right out of the play.

He didnt used to play like this but right now he isn't doing anything right. I've been a supporter of him this year even when he's been burnt, but i'm changing my opinion of him after what i saw yesterday. He just looks as if he doesn't care and he puts hardly any effort into the game whatsoever.

Roy Williams is a bum... kick him in the mouth early in the game and he will disappear. Him and Deangelo Fall are the two most overrated players in the NFL.

This just in: Roy was just spotted at Krogers looking for some biscuits so he can play linebacker.

Key Point:bow:

I believe we should switch to 4-3 and start Roy Williams at linebacker. I feel Tony Parrish should free up Roy Williams more.

Players have down years. Sean Taylor has had a huge down season. Doesn't mean I'm ready to run him out of town. He's had two excellent seasons and was badly misused in the cover 2 uh just like Roy lol.

The Cover 2 has been exposed big time now... doesn't work anymore. Some coordinators get it, some don't. The players can't do anything about the play calling.

Hes hurt, why would Roy, the NFLs hardest hitter (we've seen him seriously drill some guys before) suddenly quit trying to fly in and make plays like he usually does? He has too much pride to sit on the sidelines and he knows how valuable he is to the team, even if hes hurt. I promise you at the end of this year, we'll find out exactly whats wrong with him. I'm guessing shoulder because looking at the game again he seemed to try to take on blockers with one shoulder, and seemed kind of timid.

Some sort of injury? Where'd you hear this? That would explain why he's playing a little timid.

Just making an assumption. Three weeks ago hes blowing every play up, hurting our own guys. Now hes going through the motions avoiding contact. Our team has 'miraculously' avoided the injury bug, I just beg BP has a lot of these guys playing hurt because he'll use into the 'theres a difference between being hurt and injured' speech that coaches use as a pathetic form of motivation. Ask Julius Jones about 'injured' and 'hurt' - he hasn't been the same since his ankle injury, and lets not forget when BP started playing mind games with the fragile 2nd year player.

Right where the rest of this overrated defense is.

Now, where exactly that place is, I do not know.

Luckily, Newman hasn't found it yet. He's seemingly the only one.

The next time Jerry wants to draft an extremely limited safety with a Top 10 pick slap him and remind him you can find flawed, one dimensional safeties later in the draft.

For every Carpenter there is a Marc Colombo. For every Chris Canty there is a Marion Barber. You're not gonna roll 7s every time when picking up players, our scouting department must not be too bad, that # 9 kid seems like he can throw the ball around.
