The truth is; we really don’t know how much he’s involved.

We do know we’ve seen better drafts , Cap mgmt and FA decisions overall since he took over as HC in 2011.

Involved is an understatement. But Garrett doesn't have that eye for talent or the ability to coach it up. The last time Garret really tried to lobby hard for a player on draft day, we ended up with Gavin Escobar. Though Jason talks a lot of about RKG's, he has no idea what they look like.
