Where is the creativity on offense?

The two most common complaints about our offense that I see here are:
1. Moore gets too cute with his playcalling instead of keeping it simple.
2. Moore isn't creative enough in his playcalling.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
what Moore needs to do is learn to adjust to what the defense is doing during the game and before as some can be done before the game when studying film. He also needs to expand his playbook by quite a bit. Like we have two good pass catching RBs, but how often do you see this team draw a blitz in and throw a screen pass over there head? how often do you see passing slant patterns? Do you ever see any WR picks (I know they are technically illegal, but there are patterns that do the same thing legally)? How about the qb lining up behind center rather than the usual shotgun formation? How about stop abandoning the run so quickly, and use more Pollard with Zeke?

Edit: I know you are not necessarily taking a side with your reply post here, just saw the opportunity to make this point :)

Where is it on offense?
If you watch highlights from around the league this past Sunday you’ll see some pretty innovative plays. Check out the GB TD with the TE wide open…there was a Titans play that was pretty creative too. Every once in a great while when we run a screen play it goes for a big gain and then we shelve it for weeks. Anyone else feel our offensive creativity is severely lacking?
Seems like I would try to get more creative to make things easier on a backup plus rookie LT.
The creativity in this offense is always used up by week six. Moore gives us a good 6 weeks, then everything dries up. It's been like that every year with him.

We could use a Tony Romo type QB right now. A guy that's going to take the field and do his own thing. Romo made Garrett look good all of those years, IMO.
As soon as Romo left, what happened to this offense? It became untrustworthy from one week to the next. And Moore is the new Garrett.

Do you have to wait for Prescott to get back on the center

We run a vanilla offense
Very boring like Garretts

The coaches know what Rush can, and can't, do. They're not asking him to win games. Just make the basic plays and protect the football. He's doing that.

The defense makes that strategy possible, and it's working.

Can't be creative with a backup QB who took maybe 20% of practice snaps, until 4 weeks ago.

You are too good for this thread you should leave.

4-1

Stunning. Have you tried lemon pepper on your grilled chicken?

That's probably going to be the better career choice for you. Since you don't know what you are talking about relative to football. The fat man YouTubber giving grilling advice.

Now. I know what you are thinking. I don't know anything about grilling. But worry not. There are plenty of people out there that have made countless videos on the subject. You could use that as a launching pad. And I consider myself a bit of an aficionado myself. Always willing to help.

You have a bright future. It's yours. Just seize the day. All our love and support.

Well Rush has been with this team for some years now and should/does know this offense very well, so I don't think simplifying the offense is the answer or the excuse.
The guy knows the offense so take the training wheels off and let's go. Saying that, I don't think the problem is the qb as much as it is the OC

Moore needs to save his secret stash of plays for a must score drive during a playoff game or Superbowl. No sense auditioning the plays now.

KM is a terrible play caller, he should be calling power running balls with sweeps to outside that have quick developing pass plays that attack the middle of the field with deep passes to the outside on curl routes that are run in squiggly lines, oh and double reverses that have the guards pulling to the center.

You don't need creativity to win. I'll take 30 rushes for 163 yards any time b/c it means the defense is dominating.

Until they're not. Don't get me wrong. I totally agree with what you said. I'm just thankful we have Dan Quinn and his imagination at scheming plays. Obviously, the players have bought into him...

Maybe....
The defense playing so well, they may just ride with what they have been doing.
