Where is the creativity on offense?

The Boys & coaching staff are playing lights out, yet some still feel the need to complain.

Lesson: The Boys gained 68% of their yardage by gound against the Rams, a highly unusual distribution. They gashed the NFL's 7th best run defense (93.7 yards per game) for 166 yards. Everyone with a football IQ has seen the Boys at their very best, both OFFENSE & DEFENSE!

I like that Moore has stopped calling the trick plays in the red zone.

But two things about this offense I wish would change.

1. Run screen plays better. For whatever reason, the Cowboys cannot run a well executed screen pass. Either they tip it off too soon, or they call it at the wrong time but whenever they try a screen, 9 times out of 10 it goes nowhere.
2. They cannot execute those WR screens to the outside. Whenever they try that play, the WR gets tackled immediately or the pass is blown up. Some teams run those plays really well.

That last thing I was to see is KMs creative side.

Im all for this offense, when QB1 returns we can add some routes to it..KEEP IT UNDER CENTER KM...the offense will get more effecient with QB1 and with this defense we got a shot against anyone.

The Cowboys are playing situational football and winning. Green Bay had some sexy plays...and lost. I prefer solid, efficient and most importantly, winning football. I couldn't care less if it's a bit too conservative for some.

Cooper Rush is extremely limited as a passer and we’ve dramatically simplified our passing game and route concepts for him.

Now that’s an answer many don’t want to hear because it subverts their quarterback agenda/narrative, but it’s the correct answer to your question.

The only issue I really have with offensive play calling is how little we run different plays out of the same formation. Keep working on the run blocking and keep that run game going.

In both cases, it seems that they are not blocked well, and the result is a negative play. I always wondered why on many of the failed screen plays (WR or RB), why did they try to have Schultz block - such a bad idea. Not his strength.
